I know the modern “definitions” of sex and gender. Sex is biological and we are now just recently being lead to believe that gender is a choice or a psychological and sociological thing. I honestly can’t imagine how I’d feel about that; maybe just try to walk away from the situation…? I remember seeing a story on Discover (or one of those channels) where the dude went nuts and killed the trans woman. That kind of thing should be disclosed before relationships begin to mature.
Also, I don’t like this kind of thing being front and center for young kids to see. If a kid grows up feeling they’re the wrong sex and goes trans as an adult, more power to them. Exposing transgenderism to young kids, who are mentally developing/“confused” seems like a recipe for disaster. The interwebs kinda makes that a moot point though lol.

As far as the “whats it to you?” question. Some of us here enjoy watching the miss universe pageants. Check the thread from last year, there were quite a few members posting on the event as it occurred and giving our opinions on who we thought was the hottest and should win. Its fun to compare your personal taste to the results and to see the contestants strut their stuff. Its the same reason that we do the Women’s Tourneys here on SRK. Having a trans in the competition just makes it weird. Thinking so makes me a horrible person? IDGAF
