BTW every week theres seems to be a oversight by the writers. I can’t explain this one, Alisha couldn’t have died from that bullet because her and Simon aren’t an item yet. I was assuming the whole reason why Simon travelled back was to save the women he loved. But present Simon has made no indication that he has any love interest in her, they are barely friends, so I don’t see how had Alisha died it would have caused Simon to turn into a ninja.

This episode explains how future Simon was able to pay for that slick pad aswell. But no explanation to why Simon needed the Dark Ninja costume when he can turn invisible, though I guess it leaves less clues to his identity.

I was trying to explain the time travel to my wife and this is what I came up with. It is not like DBZ time travel, where the bad future has to happen before the time traveler goes back and saves the day. It is more like Dr. Who time travel, where the past is saved even though the Doctor doesn’t save it until his future. So, there is never a present where Future Simon doesn’t save the day.

Future Simon doesn’t go invisible because he needs to be seen; it’s part of his plan. If the group didn’t see Future Simon, then they wouldn’t go to find him, which means that Kurtis wouldn’t have met teleport-girl. There is probably other reasons too.

Also, we have seen that powers are transferable. This makes me think that something happens to Kurtis (like death), and Simon takes Kurtis’s power to go back in time.

Milk Boy’s power sounds stupid at first, but it’s actually pretty strong. i’m glad he had enough imagination do the things he did with them. he could be a pretty formidable opponent in the future (if he’s not dead). if he can control sour milk, people are FUCKED- ESPECIALLY Curtis. he might not ingest dairy products, but he’s a sprinter. good sprinters are able to release lactic acid their muscles make. Milk Boy could suppress the release lactic acid from Curtis’s muscles and could stop him dead in his tracks.

[details=Spoiler]Future Simon has been fixing stuff by giving hints to the group (throwing the peanuts down on the ground and not saying anything, saving Nathan on the bike). that whole conversation could have been an elaborate attempt to have Present Simon follow Alisha back to his future hideout to learn what he is to become. at this point in the time-line Alisha has been acting weird around him (Present Simon) lately, and so far he’s the only one that understands the burden/responsibility of these powers so when something strange happens, he wants to investigate. Alisha’s character has changed drastically since the first episode. her putting on a costume and giving a fake interview to save not only the group, but potentially other people (maybe even the world??? DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNNNNN!) doesn’t seem impossible for her character anymore imo.

OR

physical objects do not change through time travel. (this is possible because Curtis does not forget anything he does every time he rewinds (because if he didn’t then we’d still be at the part where Tony murders Kelly, stuck in a time-loop).

AND/OR

physical objects DO change when in Simon’s possession. he can take things right in front of people and they can’t see the object he’s taking (him stealing Sally’s car keys right in front of her to transport Tony’s body, walking right into an armored car to take money out of it: you don’t see the briefcase of money float out of the truck, he just appears with it). also in the 1st episode when he first phased out of sight in the locker room, he was right next to the group screaming at them and they didn’t notice at all. i think Simon doesn’t turn invisible; i think he phases through dimensions- which would make invisibility (in this dimension) a side-effect of his power. TECHNICALLY if you were *just *an invisible man, the light that is supposed to pass through your eyes for sight literally pass through your eyes rendering you completely blind. Simon can see stuff fine.

also when he broke into Alisha’s room to give her back her necklace and she thought he was sniffing her underwear and he said: *“You think I risked my life traveling through the dimensions of time to sniff your knickers?” *it might seem like an innocuous response, but it could be a hint to the viewer- similar to the SERIOUS hint given to us about the nature of Nathan’s powers in season 1 episode 4 (Curtis trying to save Samantha from going to prison). Curtis changed the future to the point where nobody got in trouble for the cocaine, he didn’t have to do his community service, and Tony killed everyone EXCEPT Nathan (he most likely *did *kill Nathan, but Nathan revived).

I doubt it’s some sort of remake interview and Kurtis didn’t take the interview back in time. In the end, I think it’s just time-travel plot holes.

Also, what I didn’t like about Kurtis going back in time and seeing Nathan alive (when everyone else was dead) is that Nathan was bandaged up. When Nathan comes back to life he heals completely and is never bandaged up.[/details]

theres a lot of inconsistencies in the show, but its still a great ride.

Nathan gets an std, gets turned into a veggie. yet what, his body heals from a gunshot wound? yeah i dunno what thats about.

and time travel powers are always odd/paradoxal

also, does simon really have crazy aim as one of his other powers or something? guess thatll get explained soon

Nathan had cheese wrapped around his cerebral cortex, it’s not like wolverine where his body can eject the foreign substances. So Nathan was never able to heal.

Seems like everyone is getting new powers, I think it’s wise for the writers to avoid time travel plots, as it complicates things. So Curtis losing his powers is good, but sucks at the same because I really liked the new girl. (it’s possible Simon picks Time Travel :wonder: )
