Right now, SSFIV is the hot game so people train up for the upcoming tourneys. I think there’s only 3 stations being used. 2 of them are for SSFIV and the other is for mixed games. We try to squeeze in other stuff on the side at people’s request. So far there’s been KoF, TvC, GG, and even Fist of the North Star (Hnk). And oh yes, some “TOSHAIDEN” play as well. I know next week we got some KoF XII grudge matches to be taken care of, but after that probably the last 30-40 minutes of the night we can come to an agreement to play one of those games. they do normally play GAROU and MvC2 on the lastest consoles and I can provide for that. But if you want to do Project Justice, be sure to bring the DC and the game for it.

You can safe jump ryu and you can also do jump in option select DP on sagat but the timing is kinda different because it seems like he gets up a little slower.

i do recall gamerbee doing a bunch of OS dp’s against mike ross. against jwong though, he did a handful of dp’s against his dive kicks.

um, you sure about that? think thong told me that balrog can safe jump ryu bcuz of his really long distance j.fp, but you can’t with most characters. if you did somehow on ryu, that means you in fact mistimed your jump in and didn’t even hit him. you need at least 1 active frame on ryu, and then 2 recovery frames on land, but his shoryu hits on the 3rd frame and catches you. you can only jump in safely if you empty jump, cuz you don’t have the 2 frames of recovery from attacking.
same with sagat. you can’t OS your jump in on him bcuz his uppercut comes out in 5 frames. you need at least 1 active frame on him and then 4 frames to be able to throw out your OS’ed move. you can safe jump it bcuz you can block in 2 frames, rather than do a move in 4.

Yeah, I’d be down for some Garou! It’s an oldie, but a goodie in my opinion. I don’t know about DC sticks, but I do have a couple of regular ol’ controllers that I’m more than willing to let people use if nobody minds playing with that.

Any of you guys willing to play online? It’s nice to play MN and have green bars in ssfiv. I also play mvc2 but not as late. I kinda dropped the game since it’s not much hype anymore ever since mvc3 has been announced.

Just as a confirmation I’m going to host tomorrow night from 4-10. If you can please bring a setup as it looks like I’ll only have 2 PS3 / TV combinations available.
