EDIT I’m also going to Frosty Faustings in Chicago in a couple of weeks. If you guys really want to get better you have to get more experience playing different people who use different styles. Chicago has a lot of good players who use less common characters.

Anyone going to Rusty Quarters tonight? Their facebook page says they open in 20minutes. I’m going to head over a little later tonight with with beaucoup quarters and try my hand at Alpha 3.
Just got back. The place is pretty nice; packed, too. A few machines were down due to issues with the coin returns, but other than that, everything was in perfect working order. I think the difficulty on Alpha 3 might be turned down a bit, though; I beat it on a single quarter.
Sounds interesting. What interesting games did you see there?

I’d be willing to have casuals at my place on New Years eve since Magnum will be with his family that night. A lot of you were at my place last time in Richfield, but if you need an address shoot me a message and I’ll send it to you. I’ll have two setups, one PS3 with AE 2012 and one 360 with AE 2012 and UMvC3. I think we did fine with four setups last time, so if people could volunteer to bring two more setups I think we would be set. If no one can make it, have a happy and safe New Years!
Sounds good Splint. I’ve got prior commitments but if those fall through I’ll swing by. If I don’t make it though lets get a few rounds in next week. Nothing helps the patience like Balrog matches.

Yes, they still happen (almost) every Tuesday and Wednesday at GnG Rosedale and GnG Brooklyn Park respectively. Stop by sometime. There’s always people playing or looking to play AE.
