What an amazing event!!! This was definitely the HYPEST tournament EVER at Tracks! Big thanks to everybody that showed up and supported especially all of the new people that came out today! Shoutouts to Josh for being fucking awesome and Jswey and Arsenal for the hype 3S MM!!! Shoutouts to MK players for supporting their game! Shoutouts to Jswey and Hellsent for coming out from Madison and to the other 3S players. Hopefully next month when 3SOE hits there will be a lot more people entering. 32 entrants for AE?! What?! And not even all of our regulars showed up?! Our scene can only grow from here on out. Shoutouts to Chicago and the Sheboygan peeps that showed up. It was a pain in in the ass here and there, but I’m glad the tournament went well. Thanks to everyone for coming, especially the Chicago people. I wish the Sheboygan people stuck around a bit longer.
No worries. It was all good. I like Soloist’s idea of putting the brackets up on the other big screen that’s there. We’ll have to give it a test run some time.
Agreed, I think maybe too for next time I will include in the OP for the tournament thread about people being patient with checking the bracket and to not swarm the laptop station. I can understand people wanting to inquire and such but it was a little out of hand.
It’s cool that wasn’t directed to anyone in particular. It just gets to be a little overwhelming when you are trying to do signups for other games or counting money or trying to get back into the small space where we have the laptop. There isn’t much room as is there so it feels a little cramped at times. I guess as a rule of thumb if it looks like we are busy doing something chances are we are. Just a small hiccup otherwise I think everything ran smooth as silk.
If anything, I think the big problem was that people just were not reporting their matches. I could only see what was going on at station 4. Everything else was blocked. I had to get the knowledge secondhand if I wanted to get the next matches lined up. That’s why I started sounding like an angry guy come AE.
