Oh man. He died.

sup with that milwaukee room at ufgt?

Nobody wants to room with you.

ok let me expand my horizons and rephrase: sup with that WISCONSIN room at ufgt?

Hahahaha Romine’s next weekend and Chicago tourney on the 27th at Pazzo anyone interested in going?

What’s up with that $20 you owe me??? Got money for tournaments and shit but not debts?

yeah i still want to go

Man I gotta go back to driving a half hour to play why’s WI gotta be so big? Lol
Does anyone know of players around south Milwaukee, oak creek and cudahay area? I’ll go back to the front page and double check

Nope, most of us are in Milwaukee or Waukesha.

Ack guess I’ll have to hold down that area alone… maybe I can find some new recruits in old friends.

At least I’ll be online, gonna get a swanky internet connection all to ourselves it’ll be nice to be able to use a Ethernet cable again. Also I may be down to host some stuff, especially in the winter, but I guess we’ll see.

Well finally decided to take the plunge and post here. I’ll save the name for now, but I live in South Milwaukee and I’ve been eyeing this thread for a while now. My reluctance to initially join and post was due to, well to put it blunt, I’m not the greatest at many fighting games. I’m good up to the point of basic combos and good understanding of the systems and terminology. So yeah I can hold my own for the most part, but you won’t see me beating any seasoned players, even if myself I’ve been playing fighting games for years. I figured it was about time I started facing actual people in a non laggy online enviornment to actually get better at this shit, lol. All friends I used to play offline with are off and about elswhere and we only get to play on occasional visits from them.

When I was young I grew up playing fighting games and it is sad to say that my younger self could probably beat my older self in some games, heh. My games I’d say I actually am good at that I have invested the time in recently would be Soul Calibur series and Guilty Gear. Guilty Gear is my favorite game series, though I haven’t touched in a few months so i am a bit rusty. I noticed many like playing AE around here and I personally haven’t played any street fighter since the Super 4 edition. But as long as Ibuk8i is there and relatively the same I’m sure I’ll be fine in picking it up quickly.

I guess thats good enough for now. Honeslty I’ll paly any and all fighting games, even if I suck balls at it (I have a nice collection of fighters myself, new and old). I just have it running in my veins.

Anyways that is that, hope you guys are excepting of this noobish but seasoned fighter, lol

A lot of us play just more than AE. We welcome everybody. Showing up to play offline is the first step to getting better.

Good to hear, Many times when I’ve met up with other groups of fighting game fans they seemed soley dedicated to certain fighters.

I can’t even put into words how much better I’ve gotten just from showing up at Jerry’s on Tuesdays. It’s worth the 40 minute drive each week.

40 minutes? I hope that’s both ways. Usually takes me like 25 max.

Scumbags don’t obey the posted speed limit.

But seriously guys, the hardest part is just getting here. Once you do that you won’t regret it. We all play different games and if you really want to get better it doesn’t matter what your skill is coming in. Last week Furu came over from about an hour out and we had great Vampire Savior matches.

And knowing is half the battle… GI Jooooooeeeee!!!

Not when we troll down national.

This is true
