I loved how half the stream monsters were all “the novelty of this game (DiveKick) has worn off, put UMVC3 on”. If DiveKick had assists, it WOULD be UMVC3…well, it would be if people didn’t drop combos. Also, the naysayers can eat a dick, 'cause that game was hype as hell. The only thing more hype than that was the one-armed Real Steel comeback from J-Money.

Dieminion rage quitting against me in casuals was hilarious, one of the highlights of the tournament for me. Also OCVing Floe, Ricky and Mike Ross and Mike complaining about it while I was comboing him in teams. The only people I lost pretty bad to in casuals was Zues and Noel, I played a bunch more Vergil later and I figured out a way to deal with Wolverine opener so I feel better about my odds against both. I was beating Limbo pretty badly in casuals right before I went up and got 3-0’d by him lol.

The person who got banned from UFGT raged super hard over divekick, he threw the controller down on the table, unplugged it threw it again, kicked the camera that was recording over and then ran out and kicked over a trash can.

i actually left before top 4 of marvel started because i wanted to get lou malnati’s before they closed. definitely worth it. deep dish pizza is so glorious.
Yeah Lou’s is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
the best part was that mystery game finals were just finishing as i got back to my Aunt’s apartment with my pizza so i got to watch umvc3 top 4 anyways
