Magneto assist seems very helpful with chris in his zoning game. i think im just gonna keep mags with chris
I would assume most beam assists would work well with Chris’ zoning game, but yea, disruptor is pretty nice.
Great videos and I admire your Morrigan gameplay slightly more. But I was just wondering about Magneto benefits from Chris (assist wise). I used to main both of these characters back when vanilla first came out but I dropped Magneto after I read about his changes in ultimate; but I picked him back-up after seeing a couple of his combo vids for UMVC3. Should I just stick with gunfire as usually or should I choose another one because of his new moves?
Thanks a lot. Back in Vanilla, I used his mine assists to extend combos with both Magneto and Morrigan. Because of the changes in Ultimate, the mine no longer offers a soft knockdown, causing opponents to flip out if the combo goes too long. So yea, I don’t use that anymore. The boulder punch assist could be awesome, but Magneto doesn’t have any OTG capability outside of Shockwave/Squeeze. It doesn’t seem worth risking Chris for such a simple combo nor does it seem like a wise use of meter. For Magneto, I would definitely use the machine gun assist. The chip on it is pretty nice and along with disruptor, you could probably zone people to death.

I know this isn’t the greatest video HAHA I’m not very good at editing, but I thought this would be nice for some beginniner Chris users to take a look at. I don’t have damage or notations, yet. I hope at least one person can learn one thing from it. The video will be worth it in my eyes then.
Just a small and simple BnB video I made from 6am till now. I was messing around with some of Chris’ grenades. It came up with some interesting results. Anyways here’s my noob video.

Two players were repping Chris, Tha Guy and Windzero. Both did well, especially Windzero. They’re both all over the videos, so click around until you see them. The first link should take you to the first pertinent match right away.
One thing I noticed is how often Windzero was air grabbing. I’m really glad to see some Chris being used.
Yeah, when he grabbed Magneto out of the fly/unfly high-low mixup, my jaw hit the floor. Definitely something to look in to.

You really don’t want to watch Chris G use Chris if you going to learn how to use Chris. Chris is probably like…his 17th best character overall.
I know that. It’s just quite interesting to watch Chris work as an anchor. (I guess)
