The military was probably seeing more bullshit than common eyes, and the recent terrorist attacks was a likely impetus. Many older Turks are actually appalled at the growing Islamist extremism within the country. Surprisingly, it’s primarily the younger generation that have been slowly adopting these “traditional values”, at the cost of eroding their own freedoms.
As long as things can stabilize without collateral damage and a their constitutional rights are upheld as promised after the coup d’etat, I see no problem with this. I know a few (secular) Turks who are probably hoping the military succeeds.
I also knew dudes from pretty much every other Middle Eastern country out there.
The Turkish dudes were chill. Their goals consisted of banging broads, drinking, and generally having a good time, and maybe even eventually getting their degrees, lol.
Hard to hate on likeable cats.
The other dudes were… uptight and highly uncomfortable at best, and insane, violent, hateful c_unts at worst, with most being towards the latter end of the scale.
Some people are suspecting false flag or Edrogan let the coup happen so he could find out who is disloyal to him in the military, further increasing his power to dictatorship levels. I’m not a conspiracy theory nut, but it does seem plausible. The coup was executed so poorly too; everything that makes a coup successful… they didn’t do at all.
Middle Eastern women are fucking fine as fuck. It’s like God (LOL) made them the end game chicks. Yeah, you might smash. If you can dodge these missiles.
