Mighty No. 9 - Keiji Inafune's Next Mega Man

I admit, I donated to his kick starter.

I think easily $70 or something like that.
I don’t remember.

I use to receive daily emails from them about their progress.
I don’t get those emails anymore LMAO.

But more I see this game…
The more I’m disappointed in the creativity in art direction and game play.

It looks like a very underwhelming rehash of his legendary megaman.
Even though megaman was inspired by astroboy.

But, lets just say, I donated because he gave me great memories with his previous franchise.
These days… I’ll just keep it at that and move forward in life.

Red Ash wasn’t successful. The campaign for it didn’t reach it’s goal when it ended. FUSE picked up the game for funding after it failed.

Yes it was and yes it did, just not in the way KS creators and gamers envisioned it would be. Good for Comcept I guess, bad for everyone else.

It wasn’t man. Take it a look yourself

Though I got the details wrong. They revealed that FUSE picked it up during the campaign and shifted gears to have it fund the stretch goals instead. That’s when it tanked.

Did Randy Bitchford and 3D Realms have something to do with this game?

I backed this and didn’t even know there was multiplayer or online modes.

Was only $20 though, I’ve spent more on games I wish I never played. FFXIII looking at you.

I’m sick and tired of delays and I’ve had enough of them. I’m not going to buy Mighty No.9.
Thank God I didn’t donated any money on this.

Platformers are ridiculously easy to code. There are even engines/programs that do all the ground work for you and allow you to insert your own assets. The 3D modeling is what’ll take up all the time.

I’m so pissed for dropping 200$ on this shit.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt so damn cheated from a Game Company or developer.

Despite the delays I was STILL going to pick up in February, but after this last “sorry we have to delay again” after they said there
wouldn’t be anymore I’m not buying this game and I’m actively dissuading anyone that I know from doing so.

$200?!

The optimism in the first few pages are hilarious in hindsight. Who would’ve thunk 3 years later Inafuccboi would be on everyone’s shitlist? lol.

I was geeked as shit when Inafune was making a Not-Megaman.
200$ didn’t seem like anything when I was trying to shove my wallet into my monitor.

…If only I had known how it would turn out.

No way you dropped $200 on this, can you get me on my rent next month?

You dropped half a ps4 on inafune lmfa0

No to your rent and yes, half a ps4 was given to this villain.

I “thought” about dropping a stack and was like “nah”.
I feel for the people that put in more money than my 200$.

I’mma PM you my PayPal since you like spending money.

This was all of you niggas.

This was me:

19 disagrees on that post.

Waiting on that apology

:coffee:

I’m sorry, nihonjin.

He came up with a new idea, multiplayer in a Not-Megaman platformer.

Look at where it has gotten him. No apologies.

Come to think of it is this the first time inticreates has done online multiplayer? It’s not something you just jump into programming wise, especially when it’s split between 5 (?) different platforms.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 probably releasing before this.

This is one of the shining examples of something that should have been a slam dunk but turned into a catastrophe. Like for real though, all you had to do was make Mega Man 2 again, but you botched the gameplay, the visuals are ass, it’s over budget and failed to meet deadlines, couldn’t deliver what they promised, had some horrible behind the scenes drama, and Inafune was grimy the whole way through. I didn’t think it was possible to drop the ball this hard yet here we are.
