One thing I didn’t know was that the team members first game together was actually X2 apparently, not the Zero series. Takuya Aizu, the president of Inticreats, actually joined Capcom specifically because he was a fan of Megaman.
Another really interesting thing was that Inticreates was planning on ending Megaman Zero at 3, but Capcom asked them to make another. To avoid having to extend the series further, they decided to “kill” Zero in MMZ4 lol. They are happy with how the story turned out though, but just think Robot Jesus could have lived. Also, they were very close to making the real X the bad guy in Zero 1, but Capcom made them change it at the last minute to a copy as to not effect fans perception of X since they were still making X games.
Also, they touch on why Azure Striker Gunvolt isn’t as initially difficult as the Zero games and what their aim for that was:
Mighty No 9 release date set at September 15th. Comcept has partnered with Deep Silver.
HOWEVER.
It is now getting a physical release for all current gen consoles (Wii U/XB1/PS4/PC). Also, some of the additions he was trying to raise money for and didn’t reach (such as the extra Ray DLC stages) will now be added for free to anyone who backed the project. It is also included if you buy the physical version.
Also new box art:
INCLUDING RAY FROM DEVIL MAY CRY. Keiji pulling an Atlas with that one.
Not good enough, she still draws breath. Inafune shamed his name and family over many things but the Dina/#GG is something that can only be remedied by lifting the sword and swearing on vengeance to restore honour to his house.
I don’t even know who she is or what she allegedly did. I don’t particularly care either. Cause it really hasn’t effected me or my stake in the game at all.
aesthetics aside, if it playes really well then it warrants a purchase. damn it, games are supposed to be fun and exciting, not fucking emptying your wallet every 1-2 months for “additional content” and shit.
mm games were a “from start to finish” affair, looking forward to the same thing on this title.
I thnk the word “concept” made most people aware it wouldn’t look like that, very few games look similar to their original concept art as it’s supposed to be used as a base for inspiration not a copy, I’m just saying it’s quite a big difference in the case of MN9 lol. Also speaking of Inafune lets just hope he doesn’t ruin the incoming Igavania.
I’m sure people were aware that the real game wouldn’t look exactly like the concept art. But I also think people were expecting the real game to not look so barren and lifeless.
