Mighty No. 9 - Keiji Inafune's Next Mega Man

Just don’t give em the money.

I’m just ready for the game to come out so this long string of bad PR can be over and I just run jump and shoot robots. Inafune needs to just focus on the monetary goals they’ve already reached fuck. Save all that other shit for later.

so i played gunvolt azure strike and really enjoyed it alot. But it seem alot of people did’nt like it. why is that?

Did anything happen to that Dina character or is she still holding the Mighty no. 9 community manager position with an iron fist?

Nope. Still being a colossal bitch and costing them money.

Inafune is like God. He’s an almighty, all powerful omnipotent game developer, but he just can`t handle money.
He always needs more money!

Y’all cats can disagree, but someone please tell me where I am wrong for calling this nigga Inafune out for asking FOR MORE MONEY for a project that was one of the most successful gaming kickstarters ***OF ALL TIM***E, so he can make D-L-fucking-C for this game that is still vaporware at this point…

Or maybe you’re all still tight that I said I wasn’t going to support it so long as they retain their shit ass *c-u-n-t (really $RK? NIGGA is not censored, but this word is? Fuck you)*of a Community Manager, who is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE at the job for which she is being paid?

Please enlighten me.

So people are doing chargebacks now due to Comcept and that Community Manager’s bullshit?

I only pledged $20. The kickstarter ended a year ago and I’ve long since paid my CC bill. Is a chargeback still possible for me? Dunno if it’s worth pursuing. Again it was only 20 bucks, which is about the same as a bucket of fried chicken. And if we’re comparing the two, I’d rather deal with Inafune asking for DLC money which I’m not gonna pledge for, than KFC.

The original game/goals pitched haven’t been effected by all of these fuckups as far as we’ve seen.

However, not supporting any of this extra shit he is trying to push. Dude is way too ambitious for his own good right now. I get that it is optional and an opportunity to get folks who haven’t backed, but provide that option after you meet the goals you already have to deliver. Don’t blame anyone for being weary or backing out.

What is he going to pitch next, a comic book?

No Po I dont have to justify shit to you. Your welcome to feel the way you do, and I am welcome to feel differently.

Shit with Dina dont matter to me because I haven’t payed anything yet, ill buy if it is a good game. I’ll get the dlc if it gets made and it is good.

Money for finished products.

LOL we all know Po is crying a river on the inside now he knows how Will felt when he found out Shaft wasn’t real.

This is the worst 4 million dollar game I’ve ever seen. I have never been so underwhelmed by gaming footage in my life.

“B-But it’s alpha”

Yea, stfu, when has that been a legit claim for anything ever? Don’t answer that, because we all know that’s NEVER.
Previous KickStarter games asking for half the amount look way the fuck better and actually look fun.

I’m a backer and I don’t even know whAt she “did”. I honestly don’t care either but I’m sure I’ll get a Caplocked and Bolded essay from Po about it and why I should care.

Overhyped the game a little too much eh?

So I’m apparently not wrong for calling him out on his bullshit, seeing as how no one addressed my question…

I thought so.

FUCK INAFUNE. <-- There’s your caps and bold

No one called you out, because it’s been well documented that he’s more about the business side of gaming, than the creative side. This isn’t anything coming from left field about him or these practices, unless you’re a die-hard MM fan who’s always looked the other way when Inafune has been called out.

Hell, wasn’t DmC because of him? I remember him calling out Japan on being too safe, and everyone on the internet who read it, responded with “lolmegaman”.

Art Vandelay up in here channeling George Carlin.

Depends man, Inafune told her to stop right? She didn’t, people backed out. They had everything in place and now they have to restructure based off of lost sales/funding. It’s not his fault.

I hope this shit is fine. I donated so much to that damn kickstarter. I don’t even remember my pledge. But I understand he want’s to do more, but at the same time I feel that he should atleast drop the game first before worrying about DLC, because if people donate now, then he may as well add the DLC shit into the game alredy if it gets funded. Or atleast release it free if they can’t squeeze it in without having to push the release date back

Removing everything else and ending up with this simple sentence really puts everything into perspective:

$4,000,000 for a 2.5D retro platformer isn’t enough.

Cost of living in Japan is expensive. My $20 pledge probably went towards buying a bowl of noodles and a bottle of cheap sake for Inafune during one of their lunch breaks.
