Is it ten dollars for SF4 singles, ten for SF4 3v3, and ten for SF4 5v5 or something similar? First post says that it is just ten to play super, that doesn’t include teams right?
So I’m going to go ahead and assume that if my group brings a setup (13" mono sound tv, pstrizzle with SSF4(with colours unlocked) and HDR), there will be space available for it?
We have room for 44 setups. I doubt we will have enough brought in to fill the space. Bring it, sir! And thank you!
FPS Stud - SSF4 Singles is 10 dollars, 3v3 is 30 per team (so 10 per player), and the 5v5 Random is 5 per player. Then the 20 dollar venue fee, of course. Hope that helped.
thanks for clearing that up keits.
i’m bringing a setup for melty blood casuals since i’m sure there will be room and also my tv that i’m bringing is too small to use in a tournament anyway.
Get this lame attempt at drama out of here, Marn. No one cares who likes who. They just want to come out and have a great time at the event.
I dunno, I come to fighting game tournaments for the drama. It’s like pro wrestling for nerds.
so justin aint coming cuz of that? r u still coming?
yeah pretty sure he’s already out here
No, pro wrestling is already for nerds.
nerdier nerds
Sooooo i want to go but i only have xbox 360 controllers. Would there be anything there i could use? or maybe someone could let me barrow theirs XD?
dont worry people probably wont trip about lending out sticks/controllers… as long as u dont mess it up or worse steal it…
People are usually pretty nice about lending you sticks or controllers as long as they dont have to play soon. Who knows, you may win a free arcade stick just for showing up and entering a tournament. Show up and Im sure we will work it out for you.
So is justin seriously not going? Also with the whole ultimate gamer thing, does that mean he’s not gonna be training hardcore for Daigo @ Evo?
I’m gonna have to cross my fingers for one of those PS3 sticks… I purchased a MadCatz PS3 FightPad just for this event (I don’t own a PS3 and I’m more accustomed to the FightPad than stick atm), and it’s gone defective… twice. Since I ordered it online I won’t be able to return it or get another replacement from MadCatz before the tourney. :crybaby:
Oh well. I’ve got a friend whom I may be able to borrow a dual-modded stick from. Still super psyched about this weekend!
Im packing up cars today and heading down to chicago this evening. Once there, a few volunteers and I are going to pick up TVs from AreaXIII, then some sleep before tomorrow!
Email or PM me any questions you have and ill get back to you ASAP. See you all friday night during early registration, or saturday morning.
I know people are usually picky about tvs, but the only smaller tv I have is a 26 inch (I think?) Samsung lcd. Should I bring this for a set up? Or will no one use it?
I don’t know enough about lcd delay.
pro wrestling is for hillbilly nerds*
Did anyone find out if the hotel is showing the Machida fight?? Also, do they have food late night at their restaurant or was it only breakfast they serve? I MUST have food + UFC this weekend.
