Yo Keits: what time will you be getting the ballroom? I only ask 'cause my buddy and I are coming down on Friday in a pickup w/ a TV or two, and since check-in time isn’t 'til 3pm I’m not sure if we’d have anywhere else to stash the tubes.
Stash the TVs in your hotel room or car until 6 or 6:30pm, then bring them down to the ballroom to check them in and register for the event.

Good news #2: I talked the hotel into increasing our block again and extending the deadline to reserve a room by a week. You should be good to book rooms until April 30th now.

Neat event going on in Schaumburg’s Gameworks May 7th from 7-10 pm, Stern Pinball is holding a “cash grand prize” competition for their new Iron Man pinball machine debuting that day. $5 entry to anyone who enjoys a classic game tournament.
A question in regarding setting up the place. I’m working late for the days leading up to the tournament. Should I bring the cab the day off the tournament? Or will it be open to set up late friday night? Like 1am or so…
If its going to be later than 11pm friday, id say bring it early Saturday morning.
yeah I won’t even get out of work til 11pm. Much less packing the car up with the stuff and driving over to northbrook. So sure, saturday morning it is.
If you are staying at the hotel, you can bring it friday night late. If you are commuting, saturday morning is better probably for both of us.
