Keits: do you know what the setup will be for ST? Japanese or American joysticks/buttons? Thanks :).

Both japanese and american parts will be available, and i believe you can use your own stick if you wish. Shinji Gohan will be able to clarify more specifically, as he is providing the setup.

Yes on the cabinet both sides are interchangeable between Sanwa and Happ. I would recommend using the cabinets sticks instead of the ps1 to super gun converter because it is a stand up cabinet and you may not be able to view the screen as well if you’re sitting down with your own stick.

Speaking of SF2, Valle if you come I’d like to MM you in ST or HDR, first to 5. Can’t say how much for sure until I’m there (work’s hours aren’t stable enough) but I want to say around $50.

Count me in for an HDR MM vs. Valle

Heys everyone!

I’m excited to support MWC this year! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Midwest and hope to get good games with new/old faces in the community.

If anybody wants to play a 1v1 tournament vs me, we can discuss this matter when I’m there. Thanks for your understanding.

P.S.

WCW was not a Level|Up event or Level|Up stream. Even though AJ produced the stream, he has no control on what WCW staff says or directs while streaming their event.

Thanks for your understanding and PRACTICE UP KIDS!

Good to have you on board.

Too bad this didn’t happen on April 1 …
“Front page SRK ANNOUNCEMENT: SB5 taking place same day as MWC because of bad blood from Keits, Fugee MM dispute. Fugee claims Keits won $50,000 Goldeneye match due to screenwatching and Oddjob, TOs vow to sabotage each other’s major. Ghaleon flabbergasted, moving to Japan to run SBO (Season’s Beatings Opera)”

50k in goldeneye. Holy shit im rich.

50k in goldeneye? Keits you buy yourself a goldeneye for that match

Anyways , I’ve cleared up my stuff and I am now coming to MWC.

Hey Keits, if the SSFIV teams tourney is going to be 5v5, would it be possible for a team of 4 members to enter and have one member play twice?

If its 5 on 5, you can enter with 4 members and play at a disadvantage, or have the staff add a person who entered alone onto your team. Thats the format im leaning toward. Nothing is final on that yet.

ST will be on a custom cabinet similar to cigarbobs cab, but it was my first so it isn’t as nice looking as one of his but its functional which is the important thing.

I have it set up so you can easily switch between sanwa (options for square and oct gates), competitions, or P360s.

However my brothers being a dick so I may have to go out and buy my own ST board. Or ask NKI to bring his, either way ST will happen on the cab. AFter ST, will probably be HDR til whenever that ends and then I’ll start to put up some arcade boards that I have (EX series, Fighting Layer, TGM, SF2HF) and then PS2 games.

The cab is about 38 inches high with the coasters on it. and has about 12-15 inches of space between the two players.

What I was wondering is if I need to have any specific connections or mods to it for it to be on the stream?

This is looking better and better, glad I got my priorities straight. I’m expecting to get some quality casuals in with you IL and STL peeps!

Keits, I’m gonna have to get at you guys if you figure out the best/easiest way to stream a cabinet … I can’t ask Tim Static to install a capture card or whatever in his UMK3 and I don’t really want to install one either :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, it depends on if its a real cabinet or something homemade, i suppose. Ill let you know if we figure anything out.

Attention everyone - The livestream is looking for volunteer crew members. These are off-screen positions helping support the operation of the live stream. If you wish to lend some of your time, please come to the ballroom friday night during early-registration and let us know you want to help and we will find you a job. Thanks in advance~!

its homemade with composite/svideo and component out.

which can then be converted to vga.
