Not to “toot my own horn” but honestly Cole and I are just on a different level when it comes to street fighter, as we should be. We pretty much took that shit seriously from the get-go and we travel(ed) all the time to tourneys to get better. And we brought our skills back to help the FGC here. As soon as we get those cabinets man it’s tourney heaven. Like a ranbat once a week and a tourney once a month or something. I think the best way to do the tourneys for a while is for Cole and I to not compete so we don’t get that “free donation” attitude, and we could participate in the ranbats. I think the lubbock ppl would start coming down for weekend ranbats in the arcade, plus we could do a marvel ranbat at my place afterwards or something.
Or we can all do nothing, not show up, and not pay the fees to the arcade/tournament and fail as a scene…

The fight night was really enjoyable, all it was was a bunch of casuals against the Houston scene. All of them are really good players and I learned a lot. Especially when it comes to Seth and Cammy, those are two match ups I need to practice against.
Of course I made sure to show them a lot of new stuff as well. ;D They seemed to enjoy my Sakura play haha.
I highly advise if you’re ever out of town for anything like a family get together, see if there is a event going on or just a casual meet up. Because this trip helped me out a lot and I didn’t even expect to chill with the Houston scene. Also always bring your stick too haha.
Glad to see how much this community is growing, and chairman i know a couple of agents that are willing to help you guys out on getting the arcade cabinets you guys want. I’ve been feeling sorta sick lately since christmas so im hoping ill start feeling better later on today. I am just gonna kepp practicing on kof 13, because i still got alot of catching up to do on sf4 with all of you guys lol:rofl: ill let all of you know if i can be able to make it later on today.

Well guys i’ve been in the lab for quite some time practicing on a stick i’ve gotten, it is a Hori real arcade pro.3, and i have been in san antonio to a tekken 6 tournament. I got 2nd place, im glad to see my 3d fighting game experience is paying off. Now its time for me to master sf4 and umvc3 on the stick more accurately. Happy 2012 btw:rock:

She’s here!! my brand spanking new ps2 pad finally came in and after testing (2 hours of training mode herpderp) I found it to be flawless. NOW I CAN MARVEL, KATARI! no more excuses!
edit: FUCK! there was actually NO problem with the old ps2 pad i’ve been borrowing. I found out that for some fuckin reason the triggers just won’t register as well as they should be in MARVEL only (and texting via PSN apparently… it’s a bitch to get shift on LOL) with either the new or old ps2 pad. with inputs on, they work perfectly fine in SF, just a tap and success… but in marvel/most other stuff, just to get the input I gotta shove the fucker in. it’s not a problem with the converters either since both the inpin and the ps2->360 have the exact same outcome… shit sucks :\ gotta find a solution before killeen…
I don’t wanna buy a brand new ps1 pad just to find out that there was nothing wrong with the used one I bought it’s just that it comes with a SHIT dpad
