Okay, a full day of playing Neo Geo Battle Coliseum is definitly a great day.
Whoever said KOF98 looked better than this, I’m 110% convinced they did not play, nor even looked at the game. I can assure you KOF 98 doesn’t look even half as good as this. I know this because I use to play that game like a religion! That and the facts are smackin’ you in the face.
As for animations, there’s plenty I’ve seen in this game that look even better than many in bloody Guilty Gear. Guilty Gear’s animations are…pretty good. I’m not saying this game is loads better, but it’s easy to see. Guilty Gear “appears” better because of its stylish cartoon look…THAT’S IT! Taking a closer look, it’s still has it’s fair share of choppy animations.
'98 Rocked. This might be the one to usurp it, however.
And as we all know, my opinion is the RIGHT opinion. Well, I know that, anyway.

ah ill assume you mean me since I was the only one that mentioned 98 but obviously you didnt read cuz I was saying kof 98 animated better. How can you look at the kof characters in 98 and then NGBC and say they animated better in the latter? Dont be foolish. Of course dont come at me with some bs argument like kim cuz kim obviously doesnt even look like he belongs in the game he animated so much better then the rest of the cast.
I’m not being foolish. I’m being right. THey’re animated better in NGBC. Mai definitly looks better. The only exception I may see is Terry, but even he isn’t bad at all.
I don’t see how Kim doesn’t look like he belongs in the game. I know where people say that he’s animated better, and it’s because of his standing animation, and they’re wrong for thinking it. Sure, it looks nice, but it’s just one animation out of many. Yuki, Moriya, Washizuka, Ai, Mars people, Marco, and more all look just as nice. The characters blend in very well together, unlike say, CvS2, where it looked like a bloody mugen game.
Thats a silly argument anyway…that Kim doesn’t belong in the game. They simply used his most recent animation, thats all. Had they used an older animation of him you’d still complain.

I’d be up for just about any game you guys pop in a system there. Although, I’d have to say, the best MK is still part 2. MK Deception is great and all, but there’s some VERY cheap things in that game ::cough, Dairou, cough::.
And get this – I’ve yet to ever play any GG game. DON’T HIT ME!! I’ve just never experienced it (besides watching it).
