The stones are a bit of reference to the older Superman movies. Superman II to be exact. If you remember that crystal he had in Superman II that created the Fortress of Solitde(the artic place Clark was left at in the end of the show). In lighter words, the stones make a crystal that shows Clark Krypton’s past, he will know everything now and will finally fight for Truth, Justice, and the American way. In the comic Clark went to College in Smallville, everyone knew of his abilities, he went with Lana, and he doned the suit and went to Metropolis afterwards. Sorry to say it’s gonna be one more season in Smallville. And we still have to see Evil Lex Luthor.
I get what your saying though, if you weren’t a Superman fan or up on the old story you’d probably be kinda lost on what’s going on.
…Just got back from seeing EpisodeIII. It’s to be expected. Everybody pretty much know’s the story anyways.
I know what the stones/crystal are probably for, I know he dated Lana and so forth.
What I’m mad about, is that I was lead to believe these questions would be answered in that 90 minute episode…they were not. They gave us more “fluff” and NO answers…not one question was answered from an entire season of Lana the witch, and Mzyplx the guy the fixes football games and Kpytonite powered rice burners.
I expected more.
I was really dissapointed too, I like the graphics alot though, that helicopter crash was freaky. I find it odd that lana wasnt hurt worse. The whole show led up to a big nothing, not to mention it was only about 40 min long and 50 min of COMMERCIALS!

Dont talk crazy! The hardware thats in it is worth well over $600. There"s not a computer out to date that can compete wit it! This is not a computer its a video game console! $400 is cheap for wut your getting! Especially when the PS3 is supposed to be between $500 & $600! You also pay $500 for a PC that’s not as powerful! Wireless dosent mean batteries, it means you have to charge the controllers or just use the wires! Wireless is optional! The system caters to your needs!
Ed, check out the game “Gears of War” if that dosent touch your tummy then nothin will!

I was thinking about it, and VDO said that he would go if I did…however, now my job is trying to pull a fast one on me by getting me to work a 8AM-8PM shift for Sunday, which I’d rather not have.
I may have to sit out anyway regardless of how that turns out. But like I told Dave J, once I get this new job, it should free up my weekends tremendously going forward. Gunning for Father’s Day Weekend to get out of that swamp we call retail.

EDIT - PS3 is retailing at 299-399 and Nintendo Revolution 250-399. That shit better come with a game.
None of the systems are goin to come wit a game! I never said it was cheap. Your goin to pay for wut you get! Check your resources again because PS3 is goin to be atleast $500! The reason is that they had to pay IBM and a bunch of other 3rd party companies to make the hardware as on the other hand, microsoft just made the hardware thereselves and patented it. In turn they can sell there system for $400 and not lose any money! Sony will lose money on every system they sell! If your goin to wait for the price to drop, sad to say, I dont think either prices will drop for atleast a year or so after they both release! Summer 2007!

Also, the XBox is a fucking computer. Not a console. It’s a computer. THE TV IS THE MONITOR OMG!!! Also, my shit is more revolutionary than the Xbox360. This isn’t new technology, its technology that already exists and the market holds back on because they make BILLIONS of dollars selling outdated hardware to people. The moment a computer is put together it is ancient history. It doesn’t even have to reach store shelves anymore.
When did graphics become more important than gameplay btw? I saw the promo for the PS3 and it was just a bunch of fucking racing games and another OMG SHOOT PEOPEL DED game. These systems better have some seriously fucking impressive games, because even I (with my massive technology boner) am tired of seeing pretty graphics on shit-ass games.
I just want a gd Neo Geo Pocket. Is that too much to ask?

KOF Neowave is tight as a 16 year old girl, definitely look into that when it comes out on PS2.
The japs play VF4 final tuned A LOT, along with shooters, some game called Melty Blood, and Alpha 3. I was running people earlier in MOTW with Tizoc in A-cho, the main arcade in Kyoto.
Jap game stores are insane, they cram so much shit on the racks, I didn’t think it was possible.
That price I threw up there for those consoles aren’t even real, I made them up. About the only thing I was trying to see is how much people nowadays are system fanboys. I suppose it’s not so much a problem, you like what you like. I’m looking foward to the fact that 3 consoles are trying to kill each other and because of that they’re going to be trying to make good games, not “who can make the best graphics.” I’m SO fucking sick and tired of the bullshit idea that graphics = great gameplay. No, they are a factor in gameplay, but they don’t make the whole game. Right now I’d say the PS3 is what I’m looking forward to the most followed by Xbox360 and then Nintendo Revolution. Whatever one is going to wow me is up to the game designers though, not the company that made the console. The console just provides a tool for the game designers to use, and for us to use to play their shit.
Clark’s location at the end of the episode puts me in the mind of the ‘Fortress of Solitude’. That episode did suck ass, though, much like I’m expecting the XBox360 to. An impressive piece of hardware, like the XBox was, but unless it gets a better gaming library, it’ll suck, like the XBox does .

I have a neo geo pocket and all like 7 games that ever came out for it. Do your self a favor and dont get one. The games that are available do kick ass, but theres only a couple I mean Its not worth it, just get those games emulated. The only reason I cant part with mine is because of this ::

That’s exactually what it was, see I’m not crazy, somebody else knows what’s going on!!! Now hopefully Clark will return to Smallville ready to fight for Truth, Justice, and The American way. News Flash, producers already said Clark will never be Superman in this series, but he will have all of his abilities. I agree that the episode sucked, could have been a lot better. In fact the only episodes that were a must see in this season was the episode with the Flash, the versy first one when Clark flew, and the “Evil” Lex Luthor episode(complete with Kryptonite ring). I just hope next season will see clark flying, lifiting stuff, running fast, and all the good stuff we know Superman can do. And for the last time, GET ON WITH THE STORY ALREADY!!! Just tell Smallville who you are, they all will know anyway.
Star Wars Epidose III was as expected, a good movie, a battle between first and second favorite. Episode III could have easily replaced I and II entirely, but they had to tell teh full story. All in all I liked it.
Now FANTASTIC FOUR, THAT MOVIE WILL GET A B OFF OF VISUALS ALONE! It looks magnificent, and how hard can it be to tell the story of a Super Hero family? Look at Incredibles, that was great. With the Fantastic four as long as you got Dr. Doom, and the four being a family you’re good to go.
Mike I saw Gears of War and I am impressed. I will have a 360, hell all 3 next gen systems.
