Not real big on shooters, except “Radiant silvergun” and “R-Type Final”. It wasnt enuff for to purchase a ps2. :xeye:

R-Type Final was awesome…was the main reason I got a PS2 in the first place. I also got it for Rez and Space Channel 5 part 2, but to be fair both of those were on Dreamcast too. Gradius V though, I don’t think was as overall good as R-Type, it was still really fun.
I also enjoyed Shinobi, Oni, Mister Mosquito, and katamari, but I’m not entirely sure any of those are your style o’ game. Maybe the Sega Classics Collection. Despite the bad press about that one, the games on there are pretty awesome remakes.
I retired on fighting games after MVC2. Not big on shooters even though I like looking at other people play them. Im more of 3D first person shooter games and a select few single player games. Multi-player is wut im into. Shinobi was to short and didnt even come close to Ninja Gaiden. Just like everyone else says “its all about the games” and to me personally, the games I play are either better on the XBOX or only on the XBOX. I might get back into RPG games but even if I do, XBOX360 promises to have alot more RPG’s this time around. Really thinkin bout it makes me lean towards not wastin my money on a PS2 when I know I wont be playing it, even if I can get one for $80. Thats $80 I can spend on a next-gen game. I also dont have the time to play every lil game that seems interesting.
By the way, Katamari Damacy was retarded!(I mean that in a good, stupid kind of way.) :tup:

In that case I will grant that the Xbox definitely had the PS2 in multiplayer experiences (though I, being less of a shooter fan, find the Cube better in that regard). The PS2 is a better place to find single player experiences and shooters, but I still say it’s the best place to find weird ass japanese games.
If a game is multiplatform, I almost always get Xbox or Cube versions.

Hey I just wanted to announce that I was taking a break from throwing the weekly CvS2 tournaments for a while.
Apologies to those who came to the last couple tournaments, however I feel that you all don’t need me to throw these tournaments, shit I’m not even good at throwing them.
Anyways I’ll probably begin throwing them again in a few weeks or so, till then peace and good gaming.
