i heard that microsoft didn’t have to spend much creating the 360 cause they own damn-near all the parts. plus i keep hearing that they plan to make the system affordable for consumers. but… ps3’s 700 mini processors will still beat the shit outta xbox’s 3 super processors. plus 7 wireless beats 4 anyday <_<
also, anyone know if the accessories will be backwards compatible ie. controller & memorycards? if so that’d be good, that way i could port over various unfinished gamesaves

The reason you need a DVD remote is because otherwise, Microsoft would have to pay $10 for every system they sell if it played DVDs right out of the box, regardless of whether or not the consumer (us) would use the DVD function. That was a great marketing decision on their part. Microsort realy makes no money off the Playback kit, since $10 of that goes to whoever has a patent on the DVD hardware.

What the hell you goin 2 do do with 7 controls??? Thats really stupid. The reason for that is the system will be so expensive that they want everyone to go over the one person who owns one and play with him while sitting on each others laps playin a game of Grab Ass. The seven ports will not be for controllers but for other add-ons via bluetooth.
