The Detroit Lions are the most predictable “unpredictable” team in the franchise. You should all look on the bright side though: They still have a playoff spot thanks to the whack @$$ division they’re in. About the Lions though…I was also a supporter of Joey Harrington, but lately it’s just been too bad. I realize that sometimes his receivers aren’t trying to beat the guy covering them sometimes but I don’t blame them. Harrington immediately goes down to his check down receiver (i.e. TE/RB) for 2 yard passes, I’d say atleast take a chance and just throw it up, letting you’re crazily amazing receivers make a play. That and the OL gets destroyed (well I dunno if it’s get destroyed as much as it is just let the DL through) as soon as the play starts. I say trade Joey and try to get something they need (OL please lol), there’s no reason why we should have Jeff Garcia and Joey Harrington, who as of right now are both (to me) considered as starting QBs. Of course, Harrington might end up just being a back up like Charlie Batch lol (the greatest QB the Lions have seen obviously).
Lions suck because the offense is run by morons. Harrington is not good no doubt about it. But apparently 3 big money receivers can’t get open? The O-Line can’t block worth a fuck? I realize Carolina D-Line is good, but the same shit was happening against Green Bay and Chicago. We average about 2.3 yards per carry thereby the O-Line can’t runblock. The tight ends drop balls. All this combination of BS comes down on the offensive coachs. Offensive coachs = Mooch and Ted Tollner. Harrington is shitty no doubt about it, but that also comes down on the coachs. Why is he worse than 3 years ago? Thats Mooch. The Lions coachs need to be fired. The only reason this team is worth a fuck right now is because the defense is filled with players playing their asses off… for a shitty defensive coordinator no less. Ford should be run out of town along with rest these clowns too. He makes shitty cars and shitty teams. Unless the offensive philosophy changes and the other offensive players step up, I don’t see them winning with any of the other scrubs we have as excuses for a QB. But regardless of what happens Harrington is done in Detroit. He’ll probably be picked up by some team like Pittsburgh or something as a backup.
