Robo you may wanna check out your version of reload, assuming reload is supposed to run at 60fps (pretty sure it does), it seemed like it was running at 50fps. It wasn’t just the occasional “lag” from the recorder thingi (which you could see obviously) but it just overall ran slower. The Xbox version we played (when I played Tim) ran like I was used to. If you wanna try to run them both at the same time, you should be able to tell the difference (unless just that one time we booted it up it just ran slow for some reason).
But anyway, I wasn’t playing too well (missed a lot of falses and couldn’t jump install shit lol) but good games to everyone I played last week No fng this week then eh? Maybe next week.

I notice you use a lot of that “roman cancel” sh*t…heh, I never got into the game enough to explore GGXX that deeply, the only other people I know that uses that is Tim, cheese and dialupsucky. I know its in the game (roman cancels), but as you saw other than Faust I very rarely even use “regular” supers on the game. Still I managed to win a round from you the one game (I actually won a game 2 rounds to one but I’m almost sure you let me…thanx, but please don’t do that…no matter how much I bitch about my sorry skills:cybot:).

Theres only so much “advancement” to be acheived by watching internet videos and practice mode.
When people get to a “high” level at a game…and then refuses to play people on a lower level…then thats just…well…sucky.
I always heard there was some sort of timing difference in the PS2 and XBox versions that stemmed from the fact that a number of arcade sticks were using PS2 convertors inside. It’s entirely possible that could be it, but I don’t know if you were using stock controllers, or what.

lol, as a general rule I’d say the use of tension is better off used with roman cancels than supers (unless you’re maybe venom, but I don’t really know how to play him that well). But the one match where you think I let you win, I didn’t lol. I was using Eddie and tried to fly above you to do the…uh, “sewer” move (where he goes under the ground and such) and you just hit me out of it.
Yeah I’ve always wanted to play Final showdown, but he does live pretty far lol. Maybe me and a buddy of mine who I play GGX2 with frequently will try to get a hold of him to try to get some matches in with him so I don’t have to pay for all the gas lol (as long as he doesn’t say he’s retired or whatever).

Chloe was always my choice when this show came on. I read the first volume of the Bobo manga and the show seems different, but still can’t mess with it.
After playing Ultimate Spider-Man I’ve come to the conclusion that Spider-Man 2 is better. Ultimate is short, took me like 6 hours to beat with breaks in two days. And there isn’t a vast selection of attacks and web swings like on Spider-Man 2 either, still a fun game though.
It’s time for me to get an X-Box, I know the 360 is out and I’m gettin it, but I want an ond one just in case it can’t be modded. Plus I want to play Ninja Gaiden Black. I love the original before the hurricane packs, Black is all the Hurricane pack and more. Plus the Original Ninja Gaiden arcade game on there. Gotta beat the game though. Can’t say Gaiden is a walk in the park, but it’s not Super hard like everyone claims. You just can’t hack and slash your way through it and that disturbes some people :lol: At the expense of having to wear Ayane’s Purple ribbon on your arm the whole game to show you’re a disgrace to Ninjitsu, there’s an Easy Mode on this game too. The game doesn’t get easier, you just get stronger, it’s called that Ribbon of Strength or something like that.
LOL that’s fine, not everyone has to like everything that comes out of Japanland. I heard avx watches Zatch Bell, I hate it but to each man his own.
What are your thoughts on the Naruto dub so far? Still enjoying? So far it has been pretty good…though, of course, I don’t agree with them editing the kiss scene but since they are releasing uncut dvds thats fine by me. I’m more worried about their translation overall than the little things they edit for TV. They have been doing a good job translation-wise so far, and most of the voices are good/tolerable. But I will be buying the DVDs for the subs more than for dubbing.
I’m still a little miffed that they’re using Steve Blum (Spike from Cowboy Bebop) as Zabuza instead of Kakashi, but hey, maybe we’ll get a good Zabuza?
I’m also taking bets on whether or not they make Haku a girl for the cut version. Any takers LOL
Japanese have a cultural thing where pretty much everyone who isn’t a born japanese isn’t as good as them, and as a result they often look at foreigners as untrustworthy, violent, and stupid. I have a friend over there who keeps getting failed for his driver’s license over stupid shit, including once that the instructor didn’t notice something correctly and marked him down anyway. Hell, even I tended to have a berth on the trains.
So, naturally, they stereotype the hell out of foreigners over there, and that’s just another example.

Kinda upset about it because the ad made it sound like I could play either Spiderman or Venom through out the game.
