Justice League Unlimited airs Saturday July 31st at 8:30.
The series is back to a half an hour and stories will rarely last longer than one epidose. Now the team will feature a new character every week thus having a different line up everytime. Judging by the structure of the commercial it seems the premier episode will feature Green Arrow(cool character and personality). They show a scene where he is walking with Green Lantern and Superman and ask “Where am I?”. Supeman answers “Among friends” He turns his back to see a area filled with heroes. If my vison serves me corectly I saw Firestorm:eek:
Another cool scene was Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman against Mongul. Wonder Woman German Suplexes him:cool:
Not sure I’m gonna like the new Justice League Unlimited. I preferred only a small group of heroes, it makes character development alot better. This new one just reminds me of the old Super Friends show where they’d bring in other heroes for the hell of it.
It worries me somewhat too.
I’d rather they kept it the way it was…don’t know why they needed to change the format again already just when the regular show was getting GOOD. Also, JL Starcrossed episode will air again the weekend prior I’m told, in case any of you missed it.
In other tidbits, a Kpyto the dog series is currently in developement. To me this is a dumb idea. Superhero dogs and cats sounds silly to me. These creative monies and energies could have been better put to use developing something worthwhile like the “Girls of Gotham” program that was scrapped a year ago.
I’ll take the wait and see approach to this though.
EDIT: Also, don’t forget “The Batman” show (new) comes to Kids WB Sat. mornings this fall. This Batman cartoon is drawn different and will only deal with The Batman’s early crime fighting exploits, so don’t expect to see The Robins (Dick G. or T. Drake) or Batgirl.
