Whats up with your sentax Ivy… wtf… Did Obot claim that 3s is his new game or did he claim that 3s is your new game? Be clear!
Lemme know if yall gettin’ busy on SC anytime soon, Jackal.:cybot:
I think GTASA isn’t gonna be any different. Probably a few tweaks here and there and some hip hop music. I heard a song called NIggas and Hoes was taken out of the US version as well. Ask Uber about Metroid Prime, I played a little of it and it seemed ok. I prefer the 2-D Metroids mysel
Bull-Fuckin-shit. 50/15 is a blowout. Until you see you got outmatched, you won’t try to get good enough to beat them. They were better than all of us, THIS TIME. I ain’t rippin on you all without including myself. They were all good, and they worked as a team. What you call runnin together, which I don’t see as being a bad thing, seeing as it is a team. Own up to WHY you lost, Scar.
They worked as a team. They communicated like they were on a longdistance, four way call. They looked on each other’s screen to check positions, and they didn’t complain when another teammate got a kill that another had in his sights. Also, they didn’t have stop watches. They had clocks. Someone like you should steal that tactic from them, honestly. I know I will…
We gotta get alot better, or we are just runnin a charity for them and teams of their calibre to come and take our tournaments…
Metroid Prime is worth 15 bucks…it plays completely differently then pretty much any other First Person game I’ve played, essentially, it plays like a 3d metroid. Very good game, as metroid games tend to be. Once you get the hang of the goofy controls, you’ll have a blast.
Edit: I have to agree with Hollow on one point, one thing I noticed in that final match, was that you guys never really wolf-packed, just scattered, and when they’ve got two guys concentrating fire on your one, it doesn’t matter if you can get those 3 shot kills or not-they can hit you those three times first.
Scattering works on guys who you outclass, but in a match that far along, the best bet would’ve been, from my view, to move as a group, find some defensible places, and let them walk right into your sights. After all, they wouldn’t have gotten to the finals if they had sucked.
There are no quotes, Captain Illiterate; therefore I remain the subject of the sentence.
Next time you want to try and call me on something, make sure it’s not the idiot phone.
Hey to all my peeps! Hollow I got your back all the way on this! GTC was a better team, PERIOD!!! There not better than us, but they had a better team than us! Theres to many oversized egos among us to ever beat a team like GTC! There whole team new all the tricks and knew how to use EVERY weopon to their fullest potential! Bringing the clocks wasnt cheap, it was smart! Me, Luke, Nai, and Joe could’ve gave them a fight better then any other four of us! Im lookin forward to playin more teams like them in the future! Peace yaw.
…Well considering that 3 or 4 teams did bring clock, I think the 4H’s did quite well by coming in 2nd. That means if you man the situation right you may be able to throw em off their game. Knowing that clocking the bennies was a major factor. why not camp out around them. They have to be able to get it before they could use it, right! But it has to be done in the beginning of the game or else they’ll keep their flow. I don’t wanna take away any skill these guys had because they were good. I for one would not allow it in the next tourney though. Just a thought.
quippy.
John, I would allow it, but I would also us it against them. imagine they are waiting for a benifit, and 4 grenades land at their feet? George didn’t ban it, so its in. Now how can we use it to our advantage. Anyway, all they would have to do is look at their watches. We wanna ban them, too?
We are gonna get better by using what we learn, and finding a defense for everything.
George said the next tourney he would not allow it John,Had he known then what he knows now he would have never allowed “timers” on the table so fuck what Hollow’s talking about… there was some people that were shaking our hands that didn’t really mean it, and he was one of them, you can tell by the way he’s talking now,Hollow… We lost to the peter north team 50/17 our first game before we came back and took them out, the head bangers we lost 50/19 our first game before we did the same thing to them, so why would you try to make people believe all the games we played went like that 50/15 loss? Hell we even lost our first game to Mikes team before taking them (that was the theme of the night for us) we just couldnt recover against GTC, we’ll see how they do with out them(timers) next time :badboy:
If it is generally allowed in other tournaments…you really have no choice but to allow it and devise a strategy for it. If not, whats the point? Most likely you’ll lose every time.
I personally don’t care for the tactic, it sorta cheapens the game. But if you guys plan to compete in the future, better to be prepared next time.
Just a worthless thought.:cybot:
Luke, I didn’t shake anyone’s hand. I patted you all on the back. But don’t make it out like I didn’t support you all. I ain’t Henry. What I am saying is, if we ban clocks, then they will just use wristwatches. Ban them, and they count in their heads. Bottom line: those teams didn’t just play the damn game. They understood it. They understood that such and such respawns in x minutes. This knowledge is not hidden from us. Its readily available to all. Now, will we use this knowledge, or pretend it doesn’t exist?
Now that we know, will we remain ignorant? Luke, will your team get better with this new development? You tell me.
Regardless of the outcome, I did support the Horsemen. I supported the home team, and when you fought George’s team, I honestly didn’t root for either team. I am also a realist. The odds were greatly stacked against you all to beat GTC.
The Horsemen:
Individually, all very good players, masters of their respective weapons but DO NOT work as a complete team.
GTC: Solid players, using general knowledge of the game, Who consistently worked as a team.
That made the difference. It was team slayer. While they double/triple teamed the hell out of everyone they encountered, You guys get mad about someone eating off your plate, taking your kill, etc… Funny as hell, but counter-productive.
Like I always say, First to 50.
Please, feel free to respond. Absolutely no disrespect is intended, Luke.
It’s not allowed in tournament play, they took advantage of the fact Massu/VDO didn’t know about it,Robo the first team to use it was a team called Peter North, and when no one said anything about it here came the timers from like 5 teams, hell the team that took first place almost lost to a team, that team Massu/VDO took out (the set) and then they started using timers and their game got a lot stronger, Robo there are some people that dont have the aptitude to see more that just a clock on the table and Im glad their not on my team
I mean whats the difference between a clock and a cheat on the game that tells you when to go get power ups, when to take advantage of the glitch, when there coming back and how long they will last once you get them not only that, but lets you know when every single weapon on the entire map will respawn(yes this simple little clock lets you know all that)?.. the cheat code is less conspicuous
P.S. with all the action going on I’d like to see someone try to count in their heads through a whole game
P…whatever!!! Hollow fuck you but your still cool…BITCH!!!
I personally told George about it IMMEDIATELY AFTER Peter North used it the first time. Right after. He did nothing. If its widely not used in tournaments, then so be it. I’m would state for the record, he knew, and allowed it. By him being the tournament director, if he allowed it, then so be it.
In regards to counting, You’d be surprised how far ppl would go to win. I have heard of ppl trying to learn to RC a DP, but can’t do a Dragon Punch…
Why say fuck me, and what I am talking about? You know I always wanted to get better, and I learned a shitload of combat tactics from various teams. I am simply taking a non-biased approach to the whole situation. George knew about the timer/clock so they were legal. IF he allows them in the next one, What will the Horseman do about it? You still didn’t answer my question…
If he doesn’t, this is simply him banning RCs again…
First of all, MASSU aint even been playing halo for barely 6 fucking months, he don’t know shit, all he knows is what Juan told him. It shouldn’t have been no fucking clocks in the place period.
Second of all, all that getting better shit is worthless, in the end it’s still a game, not a way of life, HOLLOW
