Hollow: I fucked up and lost your new #; I typed it into an AIM window when I was talking to somebody else, but copied it instead of hittin genter, and then proceeded to copy something else over it before I added it to my list.

OK …I take all that back, after spending most of the day with Techno playing and almost beating the game and then, playing it on-line (XBC) I have to say two things 1 The game was made for on-line play, its probably the most lag free game I have ever played.most of the time we were full (16 players) and people had their headsets in and talking… We (John, Vell and myself) were literally amazed at how there was no noticeable lag what so ever, Bungie really streamlined this game for net play and system link
2 there is a lot of depth to the multiplayer maps I wasnt aware of until I played them with 16 people (on-line) for almost half a day… These maps will punish people with no skill or strategy and that I really like!!! Oh and the campaign is the shit too

You forgot one thing: Campaign ain’t easy by yourself…

…Campaign is definitly not easy. Dude! I’m sorry but I had to get it. Ivy through it in when I went by there to really get 3rdS, and I have no regrets. My ONLY gripe, and I do mean ONLY is the fact that there is no JUMPY setting, which forces me to use GREEN THUMB or BOXER. Believe me, I will still be in line come Nov.9th for my US copy of H2.

Never heard from you Sunday…did you go to the comicon, Techno?

It’s not if your a “Wild Bum”

What’s the deal with the Detroit area? Are there any arcades or anything?

You guys talking about Halo 2 better watch out, Obot might report you to the administrators for not adhering to Bungie and MS’ big “don’t talk about Halo 2” committee for ruining his online experience.

Yo, emergency!

Brian Obot has already reported me to the administrators of Shoryuken.com for “Avatar Overload” that he says totally ruined his online experience.

Below is an copy of the letter Obot wrote:

An Open Letter to SRK Administrators:

You may have heard the story of ROBOTRON, who was making different avatars everyday, thus ruining my net surfing experience. However, I have begun to realize that we may have a chance to create some good out of this horrible tragedy. I am writing to urge you to work with other SRK members to change our schools and our communities to help prevent another member of SRK from feeling the pain and loss that I know too well.

Brian Obot, is a bright star poised to take on the future. He had such hopes and potential. He was an enthusiastic student, an articulate speaker, and he was a cabinet killer. His life was crushed by the hatred of others. I believe that my experience was killed because somehow, somewhere, his killers learned that the lives of SRK people are not as worthy of respect, dignity and honor as the lives of other people. I ask you to ensure that members in your forum never learn that dangerous lesson.

We will never know what I could have accomplished, whether he would have been President of CVS2, or a peacemaker, or cured a deadly disease. While it is too late to help Benny, it is important to recognize that other players, right in your forum, are facing devastating physical and emotional violence that is crushing their potential, their dreams and sometimes their very will to live.

In the wake of the tragedies in Columbine, Paducah and Jonesboro, we must work together to create a forum climate where all CVS2 players, regardless of race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity, are able to learn and reach their full potential on CVS2.

Non-cabinet killers here on SRK like ROBOTRON have reported to researchers time and time again the horrible conditions they face in the forums. Forty-five percent of CVS2 players and twenty percent of SNK fan-boys experience verbal or physical assault in SRK. Twenty-eight percent of these youth cannot endure the torture and drop out. SVC Chaos players are also two to three times more likely to attempt suicide than heterosexual young people. I urge you to take steps to help these players. By doing so, you will be creating a healthier climate for everyone.

Brian Obot has long been working to make the forums safer for our CVS2 players and for others. They can help you create an environment in which all gamers are able to learn and grow without fear and intimidation. You will be contacted by this local organization in the next few weeks. I urge you to work with them to make positive changes for all gamers here at SRK.

It is too late for ROBOTRON. Please help save the lives of the players in your forum community. We are counting on you.

Sincerely,

Brian Obot

 - J/K, Obot.

…Woke up late RoBo (around 3:00pm). I thought called and got no answer so you went ahead w/ out me. We’ll catch em next time. :karate:

Robo, me Joe and Dave are on battle net now come on!!!

Correct punctuation…Correct spelling…Proper sentence structuring…

No way in the world Obot wrote that letter…

Jackal, I can’t be a total bum. You, yourself said I had Horsemen potential…

Hey robo, how recent is that game room pic you have over on that one forum? I liked the big Zanac Neo on the tv  If you’re gonna be at George’s friday, I’ll drop off your gear, since I should be goin.

There are a few arcades left in the detroit area, but they kinda suck ass if you’re into fighters. Most of the fighting game playing nowadays is done at places like ltu or robotron’s.

I know what a dry bum is, but what exactly is a “wild bum”?

What up qoa I’m in southfield too we should get together for some gaming sometime. Like urber said there are still a couple of arcades around but we usually just game at each other’s houses

Probably a week old.

I don’t think anyone goes to ltu anymore, and starcraft isn’t a fighting game.

MY THE SERVER CERTAINLY IS BUSY. What a fucking piece of shit.

Yo Ivy, I herd your house is one of the premiere spots for gaming it up. Can I get in on the action? -Serous-

Word, I’ve been kind of out of the gaming scene for a while, but I can hold my own. (lack of arcades). I usually play 3 and King of Fighters, but I can throw down on whatever.

Yeah, sure.
