That got fucked up when I switched it from “what with all their interaction with the Vikings” to “what with all the trade they did with the Vikings” since trade would imply a communal idea where customs/etc would be passed, whereas “interaction” could be limited in scope to “they came and killed a lot of people, said nothing and left.” which doesn’t lend to the obvious co-mingling of their religious practices as evidenced by Professor Furry T. Yiffer there.
