[ MGL ] Milpitas Golfland Arcade Mania Tournaments & Events

Hey guys I dunno if this was mentioned already and/or if it’s still going on but I’m sure a lot of you noticed MGL is advertising to start double-token again if they get 500 likes on their Facebook fan page.

For those who don’t know, the Golflands in South Bay used to have double token nights on Tuesdays where you get twice the tokens for your money. Also, SVGL has recently started “half-off Tuesdays”… I’ve never been a fan of paying $6-12 to wait in long lines on Wed/Thurs freeplay nights, but I am a fan of playing AE for $0.18 on Tuesdays at SVGL (see where I’m going with this?)…

Really? No one knows the unlock code? interesting I mean I know they were not suppose to be released yet but since they got released at certain locations why not just release them everywhere so it’s fair to everyone?

Hey MGL announced they are having a double token day this Friday (tomorrow, Feb 4th) so if you wanna stock up for tokens to use over the summer and jazz like that, it’d be smart to drop some $$ tomorrow to get your money’s worth. Please let’s revive MGL’s scene. It’s kinda lame right now.

Also, tokens can be converted into credits on your SVGL card if you prefer to play there (really, who doesn’t).

MVC3 hits MGL

I’ll be donating a copy of MVC3 to MGL early tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll have it set up in time for Arcade Mania.

What set up are they going to put it in? The h2h Tekken cabs or the ones behind h2h 3S and CVS2?

I was there a couple of weeks ago and the tekken h2h only worked on one side :\
Is it fixed now?
And it would be dope if they let us bring our own sticks for the setup they have behind 3s & CvS2

Not sure what setup MVC3 is going in. I actually had a friend drop it off to Scott for me today since I was busy.

The console cabs might be getting remade in the near future. Nothing confirmed atm but I have had talks with Neil the technician and we have a few ideas to pitch to Scott. The whole fighting area is going through a huge change to fit our changing scene. Hopefully I’ll have some new confirmed info soon.
