CvS2 sticks and especially the buttons need to be replaced badly. Is it asking too much for mgl to install sanwas on the good cabinet? I would have spent a lot more time with CvS2 if the controls were halfway decent…

Overall I think that norcal players seem stronger than socal players. There are a lot of players on both ends but normal socal players take the game very casually.

ggs at MGL on monday I was the Bison/Cody player. I’m sure I didn’t leave much of an impression.
I may drop by again on Thursday thinking about bringing down my camcorder to record matches. But if there is a problem with that let me know I don’t want to be stepping on anyone’s toes or invading privacy or anything.
It’s nice that we have SSFAE I have a reason to go to the arcades again.
when is it not a 2 hour wait
The wait averages about an hour starting from 2pm onward, or at least that’s when I’ve been getting there and how long it is between games. If you go around 7 and later I’m sure it’s even worse.
Q&D way of figuring out time of wait. Count cards in front of yours. Multiply by 4. That’s how many minutes, give or take 5 either way (sometimes somebody misses their spot or a match goes long).

how many GLs are there in southbay? IDk if this is a smart idea or not but why not have all the cabs at one location instead of all spread out? Or Have 2 major spots instead of 4 or 5 1v1 set ups?

You do realize that SVGL, MGL, SFSU, SJSU, etc are all separate entities/locations right? Competition? Business?
Things will sort of be better once more than one locations has AE.
Oh My mistake I as under the Impression that the Golflands where under the same ownership.
Both MGL and SVGL are the same chain.
Also having all those setups in one location assumes that these places can pony up the dough to pay for all of them.
Hey, anyone in the EAST BAY AREA interested in carpooling with me down to Milpitas?
I’ll be going whenever someone shows some interest. I have a five seater Sedan, fairly roomy and I’m a good driver. No ticket in the last 6 years. I want to find at least another two people that want to go down and play some AE.
I can pick people up as long as it isn’t too much out of the way, but ideally if there’s a big public place like a BART station near your pad, it’d be best to have a meeting spot like that.
