I was wondering about that when I used a sniper during the assassination mission earlier. I was like “So does this mean no more Diazepam or what?”. Im still mad about the boxes though. Selling GZ tomorrow or monday. It was a good tech demo while it lasted.
im enjoying the game so far. its waaaay shorter than i anticipated but its really fun to play. i been just getting used to the controls and thinking how it will affect MGO
no box is a legit concern. thats what made mgo what it was. now I am afraid it won’t be “metal gear online” anymore and more like a generic online shooter(no knife, shield, porno mags, etc). some stealth element might still be there but mgo3 will probably be a huge downgrade.
I really hope they(dudes been working on it) can get mgo2 back online. I just wanna play sometimes…

It’s probably just taking playful jabs really. From what I remember Kojima was pretty happy with the outcome of rising. I dont think he’d shit on it for serious.
I havent seent the deja vu mission, but in the jamais vu mission, there are logos from all the games scattered around the base. If you look at them with binoculars and call Kaz, he recites the name of that game, gives you a small tidbit of info, and then quotes something from the game.
Like the Original Metal Gear Solid Logo, he tells you how many polygons snakes model was, and then says “Are you an otaku too!?”.
But anyway, he actually says things about

Furthermore, there is a hidden weapon in the base, that has that UV light from the opening cutscene, and you have to go around removing all the logos as a bonus thingy. Those last 4 titles dont get removed by the light, and when you shine it on them Kaz will say “I guess that one isnt anything special” and the like.
My favorite quote was for Snake Eater though. Kaz does a really bad girly voice and says "Let’s make this the greatest 10 minutes of our lives!"
Strangely enough, the MGR logo isnt anywhere.

Uh, considering this is coming RIGHT off of Peace Walker…yes.
Do people even notice the voice actor change?
I never beat Peace Walker either. I picked up the HD collection 99% for that game, but I ended up getting distracted by other games and I’ve yet to fully replay MGS2/3 or even a single playthrough of Peace Walker. 
I haven’t even bothered with MGSIV post-trophy patch, either. Thing is I should, since you can slam that game in a few hours.
I got this on PS4 but I’m tempted to play this on an Xbox too. I really want to check out that bonus mission.
