I was only joking about the spoiler crap. I’ve already played through MGS1.

I don’t think so with MGSV because the price for both games is different on PS3 and PS4 respectively. But it would be a disservice to not get it on your current console.
I think that the greatest piece of dramatic irony that I’ve experienced is the torture scene in Metal Gear Solid 3, where Volgin is shouting about a spy who he can’t find when literally everyone in the room except for him is a spy.
That scene is hilarious on multiple levels. Not only is everyone in the room a spy but him, but he also interrogates himself. He’s beating the shit out of Snake trying to find out what he knows, while telling Snake everything he knows of major value. I really like Volgin. He’s charismatic and has incredible screen presence, but he wasn’t very bright lol.
For a good year and a half, CS1.6 was the only community that I had known and belonged to. That’s a little broad but I usually played with a group called MonctonCS. They’ve had an influence on my life.
…You didn’t get a PS3 until MGO2 was basically on life support?? Hell, even a latecomer such as me got one on Dec. 1, 2011. On the same day I remember booking it to an electronics store to buy an HDMI cable. That 1080p.
MGS4 was amazing, but I couldn’t get into the multiplayer. Throughout 2012 I was devoted to ST:HDR.
I was playing it til at least 07 when i moved to missouri
EDIT: just saw servers were shutdown in feb 07…i guess that makes sense. I was playing MPO around that time as well. I just know i was playing mgs online alot from 06-late 07 when i made the worst choice of my life
I couldn’t get into MGO2 like I did MGO1, I logged 500 hours or more in MGO1 in the year it was up (I was 7th in VS Rating when it went down, ermagerd), but MGO2, I probably got to 200 if that. I just couldn’t get behind the constant tweaks to balance in the game, I remember in a span of a month-to-six-weeks stretch, the shotgun went from ass, to almost MGO1 strength, to beyond ass, that kinda shit just rubbed me the wrong way. It’s a shame too, because the variety and production values of MGO2 were really incredible. Also, the MGO Rebirth server is sketchy at best, if you play with guys on PC, shit just doesn’t work right.
