yeah but I am probably the only that won EVERY survival match for the night that night was so fucking epic. too bad I sold my recorder by then.
oh shit check out this ancient footage…good 9-2 1st round. I remember this match was hilarious because one of the dude from the other team woke arkayne like he was in their team and just walked away(got killed too I am sure haha)
We won every survival match when it dropped and Arkayne was on that team. At the end of the night that was 25+ wins. So that would make you the 7th person on SRK to achieve such a feat.
For what it’s worth you did it at a time where comp was at a higher skill level. I remember playing on your fluffy account and getting mad hate from everyone I played. I came to the realization that you must’ve trolled the entire MGO community lol.
^ I didn’t know that. I was probably not playing survival or didn’t even have my ps3(it broke at some point). gj either way.
well yeah my timing was rough because it was in 2011 I think and we faced many average lvl17 “xPro-” teams. but I was in a solid team too and it was just a great fucking night. every match after like the 10th win felt like tourney matches.
Yeah the level 17 stuff was nuts because when we started playing 15 was the max. Then after a few patches people took MGO to a level I couldn’t even believe. I guess you could call it the pro-gaming era of MGO even though there was no prize money on the line. There were some people who hated what MGO became not with the glitching but how stealth was less of an element. It turned into a run and gun fest according to some but I disagree. You can still be sneaky in the game as long as you have the team to execute such a plan. If not you’ll probably get HS’d free but MGO3 looks like a different animal though.
totally agree. it LOOKED like most people were just runningNgunning but it really wasn’t like that. good players always picked their spots and were very smart and stealth about their game plan. newer videos on YT clearly show that they had amazing map control and always knew how to rack up kills.
if you were good at MGO then you were stealth. there is no question. you always used your surrounding and random ideas/tactics to get the kills. stealth was always there.
I wonder if HS will instant kill with an AR like MGO or they will go the UC route where it takes a few shots. The main game has recharging health which leads me to believe they will follow the trend of other TPS/1st person games.
007 probably wasn’t even top 5 imo. he sprayed lot more compared to most pros. his footage is heavily edited too and out of million of hours he played, he has some good clips. and its hard to take europeans seriously with their uber lag.
if I were to pick ONE all around best player Id probably go with DS. everything you are doing counts including knowledge.
Good at all modes and imho has more knowledge than DS about how the game works
Probably more tournaments wins if you count both EU and NA but not sure
Most of the MGO community thinks 007 is better even amongst the top players
DS is good though so I can’t say the gap is huge but it seemed that 007 had a 1up on him near the end.
At the end of the day it’s hard to say since this is a team based game. I also agree lag could be a factor but the same thing can be said about people in NA. Lets both be honest…the netcode wasn’t that great. Collision detection was kind of a mess too.
Also if you think DS didn’t play millions of hours and heavily edit his footage you don’t know much about him. Not only have I played with him multiple times but I played against him on alts too lol. It’s almost natural for a player not to show their loses or edit stuff. Every time I played with 007 he was on point all the time. Again hard to say but I have to disagree with you on this one.
I mean…with all the “businessy” shit going on with the industry these days, I wouldn’t be surprised at all. next thing you know mgo3 is fucking open world with maps 10x bigger than mgo1-2 maps and you can run people over with tanks and shit :wasted:
