If you didnt beat MG zeke then you didnt beat the game.

The game tends to be hated because its just one big grind with 90% of the missions involving the same tank/copter with just more enemies.

And the other 10% is the same “point a to point b” levels like MPO but without bosses

Yeah now that I think about it, the levels were incredibly bland, and there wasnt a single point in the entire game that I can point out as my favorite moment. I think it just pulled some wool over my eyes with all dat MGS3 nostalgia it was leaning on.

PW is a game I’ll still replay over and over again for the story. The music is fantastic too, and that’s what I look forward to while playing.

For a handheld game it’s awesome.

Old news son. We’ve known that for a while. Ground Zero’s is a prologue, will be out April next year, and cost 30 bucks.

Kojima must be in league with the jews, I thought it was flipped so it was gonna be the same structure as MGS2, I am most dismayed at this news

Why? You get early access to the product instead of waiting another full year or more, and at a reduced price, and gives them that much more time to make the second half that much more amazing.

am in no rush for this man, id rather they get it all done just right, hell part 1 will technically play out the same as part 2, just that part 2 will be off a bigger scale, kinda seems like the experiance will be numbed down a bit when I get round to it. Id rather wait a bit and go for a more seamless experiance tbh.

Either way, Kojima planning releases around PS4 sales may hint at a suggestion that it will be optimised for that console, gonna get my tin hat out on that shit. Either that or Japs still have no interest in buying that xbox180 bs.

Man i never noticed it before until playing today but MGS1s neck snapping mechanic is fucking garbage. The range on being able to grab the guard seems to be completely random, and there’s a 50/50 chance the guard will “see” you and put you in alert status even if you grabbed them completely from behind. It’s fucking bullshit.

Love MGS1 but this mechanic is balls. Shit got me so heated my dumb ass broke my controller…damn.

Hahaha i fixed it! I took the L2 harness out my dead six axis and replaced the broken harness with it. I had to dremel the top part of the controller shell to make the new harness fit.

Man those old six axis controllers are built better then the DS3s. Stronger plastic parts and the pivot bar for the lower shoulder buttons is made of metal instead of flimsy plastic.

The GC version looks fun since it’s the MGS2 engine but a lot of people hate the redone VA.

The ability to shoot in FPS mode really kills the game to, and as i get older i become more and more convinced the Tranq Gun never should have been introduced into this series.

The Tranq Gun is fine, it just should’ve caused Caution/Alert status when a guard sees another sleeping in a random spot.

Apparently it’s a common phenomenon for people to just fall asleep flat on the floor while patrolling.

Nothing that would raise any suspicion at all! One kick will do the trick.
