yeah, I kept wondering why when almost every Japanese fan art was posted on tumblr when I would search for MGR it would have manga strips and art of Raiden getting fucked by Sam. I just thought it was just japan being japan plus I’ve never played MGS2 so… the more you know… I guess?

Not exactly sure why you’re trying to decide who a character is based off of fan made yaoi. Seriously any girl with artistic talent and a love of video games will produce yaoi at least once. If 2 male characters speak to each other or so much as bump shoulders they use it as source material.
But regardless, Vamp and Raiden still had a hardcore reach around in guns of the patriots. There’s no talking your way out of that one.

I hit the insightful button quite hard.
He doesn’t really analyze so much as he just gushes over it. He does make observations, which I think are commonly known to most MGS players (some of the elements of campiness of the game, the comparison to old James Bond type spy movies, etc.) Though, him gushing over it is fine by me, because it’s a great game.
Pretty common knowledge that MGS3 went super James Bond. Intro montage leading to title screen? Check. Theme song that has stupid lyrics for the sole purpose of saying “snake eater”? Check. Fake Cigarettes that shoot knockout gas? Check.
