Man, you know, I love everything I’m seeing so far as a MGS fan. But I just can’t get over that voice…

I just feel like when I play a MGS game I want Snake to sound like Snake. It’s just not a small part of the experience for me. Now whenever I hear Big Boss I’mma see some Hollywood guy instead.

Someone did bring up the point that you don’t actually see Big Boss’s face whenever you hear Sutherland’s voice, so this could still be an elaborate troll by Kojima with Hayter obviously in on it. Who knows, maybe it’s something crazy like the shrapnel or whatever stuck in Big Boss’s head is causing him to hear voices or even have a seperate personality altogether, which is voiced by Sutherland.

We’ll just have to see until the actual game comes out. We haven’t heard any Big Boss voice clips of Ground Zeroes yet, right?

What if Hayter is voicing a young Solidus? Solidus had more accelerated aging than Liquid and Solid so it would definitely be an appropriate voice.

really old news but I like this particular match. it was mostly 4vs6 but we won but like few points. my back hurt from carrying :looney: this was like the first 4-5 matches I ever recorded years ago.

srk was HARD in the first match here. I saved all including OAG

Shouldn’t these games mark the end of Metal Gear Solid? I can’t imagine any more story left to tell between TPP in 1984 and MG’s 1995.

I wouldn’t be shocked to find out Sutherland turns out to be someone other than BB. In one of the Phantom Pain demos, didn’t he voice the face- bandaged guy guide BB through the hospital?

Isn’t imbd editable by the public similar to wikipedia? I remember people putting in voice actors for megaman for mvc3 on that site too.

I figured it out immediately that Hayter would be back to voice Solid when they announced Sutherland as Big Boss. No way they’d have Hayter talking to himself when adult Solid and Big Boss finally meet up, it’d be arkward.

This statement doesn’t make much sense considering Snake shouldn’t be an adult in MGSV, unless you’re implying something.
