The whole time Kaz says to "Make contact with skullface, even when they knew he was getting into the chopper? So was the objective to just go talk to the motherfucker? Not just shoot him in the face or something? “Boss go sneak into this extremely secure and fortified XOF base to go talk to a guy who may or may not kill you once you do.”. Really?
6. So does Volgin’s body just kinda hang out on the Quarantine platform forever? What’s up with that?
7. Why was Huey even fucking with the parasite strain in the first place? After he shot skullface nobody was really holding his reigns anymore. So why did he betray Diamond Dogs?
8. What was the point of the fucking Battle Gear? It got built and I never even seen it in fucking use before I finished the game. Havent seen it in use after I beat it either.
9. All the cassettes in the game are real. So why is it when you finish Paz’s side arc, that a cassette appears from a person who’s been dead for 8-9 years, and she actually addresses Venom Snake as if she knew that it wasnt actually the real Big Boss?[/details]

8. battle gear was was suppose to combat salanthrapus or you (as the player) was suppose to fight multiple tanks in a mission

Are you serious? A lot of those questions are easily answered within game.
[Spoiler=]3. Skullface was there since Snake Eater in a support role. He resented Big Boss when his exploits made him a legend while he was second best by design even though he was the one that made it all possible.

At that point Miller and Big Boss felt Diamond Dogs was strong enough to take Skull Face head on. They also there because they needed to stop his Metal Gear because it’s existence in Afghanistan would trigger another cold war and enact the phrase of his plan to own the nuclear market. Big Boss needed to make him talk so he can find the thing.

Even though Skull Face was dead it did nothing to slow down Cipher. He was fucking with the parasites so he sell the mutated strain to Cipher. This was said outright when Miller interrogated him about it. It wasn’t a betrayal as he was never a Diamond Dog.

Battle Gear was an evolution of the Walker gears. It’s main purpose was to be used in deployment missions for your Combat unit.

bounce out to that jungle island—we all probably would’ve had to trek through it, stop Sahelanthropus for
a final time, do something with Eli, take back that English strain, create a cure with Code Talker, catch up
with Quiet, cure her—boom she’s back.

You know what else has occured to me whilst playing? Whenever there are those times you dip ‘into the red’ with
your GMP…where the fuck is that extra money coming from? To pay for the fultons/repairs/bombardments? Is
the real Big Boss helping? Keeping you afloat til you get out? Probably.
