were you NOT expecting me to say anything at all? mgo3 stepped down like…FIVE steps. shooting mechanics are worse than mgo1 and that shit was mad random lol. way to butcher the series by making the box pop 100% useless. toe shots are the new headshots. keep shooting until someone dies…somewhere…
this is basically that 3rd person call of duty. forgot which COD it was but EXACTLY that game.
Naw, I was sure you where going to say something cuz no matter how good this was you’d hate it for not being MGO2. I just didn’t expect two weeks of non stop vagina bleeding that’s all.
yeah but its not “good” at all. not even close. you don’t think I WANT like the squeal to a game I played for 7 years? I want to like mgo3 but they went full retard this time.
Naw of course I think you want to like it, I’m just saying that there was no chance of it. You’ve been complaining about the mechanics for this game since Ground Zeros.
Yeah i pretty much learned to use over the shoulder aiming when in a close firefight, and to save first person aiming for mid/long range precision shots. You go first person while somebody is running at you, you pretty much already killed yourself.
I almost never used the iron sights when I played this game. Shooting from the hip worked just fine unless I was trying to tranq some fool or something.
I feel dirty for even asking but can someone explain the auto aim/aim assist thing? never had it enabled in main game. is that shit enabled online too?
Either the setting carries over from singplayer, or it’s disabled on MGO. It’s not on for me, but I also disabled it originally before I even finished the prologue. As soon as the game pulled my aim away from a headshot into a bodyshot it was a done deal.
I don’t know if it’s related to the shooting mechanics but overall shooting in MGO3 doesn’t really promote skill since you can spray and kill someone with half a clip but I think the damage is due to the class system. This is a far cry from MGO2 where head shots were predominant then just spraying in their general vicinity (at least from what I can remember of MGO2). I think it’s fair to call that part stupid and catering to casuals.
I’m lenient on this because I didn’t play MGO1+2 competitively so I can enjoy MGO3 for what it is. It’s not something that’s going to eat up months of my time but it’s something I’ll play casually. If people want to coordinate a team game so we can see what the coordination would be like I’m down for that because I think that’s where the real fun is for this game.
Sounds like it’s not even worth updating until some shit gets fixed. This is good news, cus I heard the update actually did fuck up resource farming since most of your shit it transfered to FOB, which I’ve avoided since release.
It does seem kinda casual like that, but it also somewhat enforces an atmosphere of not being a dumbass. If you can get sprayed down like a regular ass jobber out in the open, you think a bit harder about what you’re doing and how you’re doing it.
I’ve had some really fun fire fights on Black Site. That’s probably my favorite map overrall, even with randoms.
