Maybe Hayter was contacted before his tweet on the 29th. Somewhat revealing he’ll be voice acting BB again, but who knows.
Well he did kind of involuntarily stop smoking cold turkey for 9 years if that counts for anything.

The reveal is tomorrow @ 10am Pacific time.

Not gonna lie, I fear change, but I’m more than willing to give Keif Sutherland a shot. And just because Hayter is not voicing BB doesn’t mean he can’t voice Solid Snake in the future. I’ll wait before I complain
if you want to go for the star power ala SC2, you couldn’t have picked a better person for Snake. Keifer has a good gravely voice.
but the star power VA replacement move still rubs me the wrong way when I’m sure Cygan would have cost less anyway. does a franchise like MG really need a big name actor attached to it at this point? plus its just kind of messy imo introducing a completely new voice for the character.

I’d like to think they plan on remaking MGS1/2 someday and needed a separate voice for BB, might aswell establish it now
That’s my mindset. Not so much the remake part, but I feel Solid will show up at some point and it’d be akward seeing two guys with the exact same voice.

I’m cool with Keifer doing it. In MGS4, Richard Doyle voiced Big Boss in his older age so it’s not like it hasn’t happened before… dood!
E3 MGS5 trailer will have Big Boss voiced by 24 guy, he’ll say the “Kept you waiting, huh?” and all that jazz. At the end of the trailer, it fades to black, and you hear the codec beep. Someone picks up and says “Kept you waiting, huh?” The voice will be Hayter’s and the screen fades in to a shot of young Snake. Trailer ends.
Only way I’ll accept this new change in VA. Fuck y’all trolls :mad:

He couldn’t do it forever, Big Boss gets older.
