I made it rain then dropped a tank on him lol

is google broken?

so many people ask questions here that can be answered with a simple search

Easiest way for me was to get Fire dude under a water tank, shoot it to drench him and then call a supply drop (or tank as mentioned), either will be fine to hit the lil dork.

yeah i understand you can go about it that way ,but the easier route isn’t always the most fun.

Well you can smash into him with a jeep to knock him over the cliff/ into the pool and floating boy will disappear after a short time… feck that.

Why is this vicko scrub OT all my posts? :bee:

i made a video response that is unlisted so only you guys can see it because i honestly didnt want to take the time to write all i want to say and knowing me i would try to write it to proper. 10 min ramble but ya

MGS5 is just pointless story wise. It added nothing. The few extra scenes in the true ending are probably the best part of the game, and even then it was done horribly and rushed. Game definitely needed another year to finish up.

What’s the point of Skullface? He didn’t do anything. He was done better in GZ, and he had even less screen time in that game than he did in MGS5TPP.

Zero being a veggy in MGS4 is better explained with him just being old as fuck.

Quiet didn’t do anything. If she wasn’t in the game then nothing would have changed.

Volgin, Psycho, Eli are all pointless. They contributed nothing to the story and were just in to be in.

Ocelot…Fuck he do exactly? Oh, right, he was an encyclopedia of Afghanistan and African Wildlife. And the good to Millers bad.

Huey and Miller are the only characters who were needed in a sense, and even their worth is just seeing two people become utter assholes.

Code Talker is only in to be the guy who knows about the shitty parasites, which, by the way, was resolved insanely shitty and was just a shitty plot device. As bad as MGS4 just explaining everything via Nanomachines.

Venom himself was dull. His silence made a lot of scenes awkward as hell I.E him and Skullface talking in the car. What makes it even worse is that Miller and Ocelot just talked for him, they were the Angel and Devil on his shoulder. He just did whatever they said making it look like Venom wasn’t even the god damn boss of MB.

The few scenes we did get are awkward because of long pauses for no apparent reason, or just bad writing. I.E Miller just pauses his sentence for like a minute then continues it. SUCH A LUST FOR REVENGE WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO? And lets not forget the car ride where Skullface just stops talking to hear his girl spit that hot fire, then continues where he left off.

The lack of strong climax comes with there being no real ending fight. Snuffleluffagus Gear is the closest to a final fight, and it doesn’t feel like one. The true ending scene just happens. There is no build up. It just happens.

The resolutions to the points of the story were all weak. It really feels like Kojima wanted to stretch all of the plot points out through more chapters, but had to cut them all short, and left us with a bunch of anticlimactic resolutions.

Agree 99% with Josh, although Miller was the good guy (as per his course of action and prediction with Solid Snake), Ocelot obviously the bad guy (Balls deep in BB’s plan, effectively a Cipher agent since he is instrumental in destroying Skullface, saving Eli, Saving Quiet (and the hidden third strain)) etc etc.

Like Miller had a reason to begin the game pissed and definately to end the game pissed, Ocelot was just doing the long con, business as usual.

Kaz was a whiny bitch throughout a lot of the game (though not without reason). Even more so in the final end conversation.

Basically his whole thing was

wahh big boss doesn’t love me anymore, so venom is my new bff

PS: why the fuck is this nigga Off Topicing me.

You totally fucked up by not ending the video with “I’m outi” but that can be forgiven because everything else is on point.

First I definitely agree that the tapes are used expertly. I believe it’s all a matter of perspective. I have viewed these cassettes the duality of Venom’s role of being a soldier and figuring shit out. You can’t necessarily do both. I liked the idea of going in and being Big Boss (or Rambo) and then once the dust had settled and you were otherwise safe, taking a bit of time listening to info. It makes sense to me in that context.

The knock against MGS5’s story seems to be that what happens doesn’t add anything. That is exactly wrong. It adds plenty. The question is simply whether or not what it adds is significant or not. This is, again, a matter of perspective. It brings clarity to events that happen in MG1 and MG2 that DO NOT FEEL CHEAP. Are there characters that don’t feel significant in the macrocosm? Sure. But characters can be important locally, as well. Quiet is important to Venom and the immediate story. Her presence is obviously important because of what she doesn’t do while at the base. It doesn’t matter if she’s remember 20 years later as the badass sniper supreme or the two have baby with super powers. That’s not the point of Quiet.

I am also in agreement that the things that need to conclude do, and the rest…well that’s why the end of MGS4 was two fuckin hours. It literally tied up practically every possible thing within the MGS universe. Some may have not liked the explanations but everything was explained none the less.

So then, what left was there to show? Solid Snake entering Outer Heaven to take out Venom? That’s the only thing that TRULY disappoints me being omitted from this game. It would have wrapped things up nicely.

like what? this is seriously your analysis? “what is the point of skull face”? i mean is that a real question? the the overarching theme of having a phantom pain means nothing to you ? even as it RESONATES through the entire series? also isnt it obvious why venom was dull and why miller and ocelot talked for him, pretty sure anyone can dig through that point, whether you like it is another story. eli being pointless? i mean that’s liquids introduction, how he grew up as a child soldier, his distaste for snake and also for the cloning notes, i thought it was an interesting look into liquids childhood.

this game to me isnt about having amazing endings and climaxes, it’s about the events that happened and how they resonate throughout the series.

lastly, lets not kid ourselves metal gear solid’s writing has never been “good”, in any game, not sure why you were expecting more here. there is certainly some thought provoking commentary kojima is making and the way it’s presented through a videogame is a huge facet of what metal gear has always been about.

ps. of course miller had reasons to be pissed, i mean are you going to shrug off like the destruction that happened in ground zeros DIDNT happen and that he’s all good with losing 2 LIMBS, and knowing it’s not really big boss? id be pissed if some skull face fucker cause me to lose an arm and a leg.

also, the whole time i was like YO can we get a fucking bionic leg and arm made for miller? dudes on motherbase be sleepin on him like he’s not pimp, like venom gets one and he doesnt? pshhhh should have put huey’s bitch ass to use.

pps. miller’s burger game is too strong

Meh, last twitter pic.

Was waiting all day for the nuke to get built, decided to go on a FOB binge. Anyways completed my last infiltration, was time to get showered up at MB, hit the Final Countdown on the ride in and nuke trophy popped. Dismantled it and the disarment one popped. Walked out the shower and plat popped. Very nice, nice to have it happen randomly like that, final screen shot with me and some of my boys.

As for FOB infiltration I gotta share this tip.

  • Search for lvl 5-10 >10 platform scrub/noob/whatever.
  • On deployment screen use your worst soldier, youll get a x2.0 bonus to your Espg score. The only equipment you need is your tranq pistol and lvl1 silence AR for erm… yea.
  • Attack the Base Developement Platform, Infiltrate from the north starting location. This brings you quickly to the power unit that you can disable to get attention/kill the power to the whole platform, antitheft devices/cams etc.
  • Use the helicopter to start a recon of the platform, others disagree but for this I strongly recommend staying onboard until you recon all soldiers, you have more than enough time.
  • Tranq/CQC soldiers then extract them, even if they are all E Rank scrubs. Then clear out the containers, blow away anti theft devices, decoys etc. Take it all.
  • Finish the infiltration, enjoy anything from 500 - 1300 Espg based from my results.
  • Do this 3 times then switch out your soldier, he will attain the Distinguished Service Medal and gain a nice stat boost.

Its cheap spammy bullshit but loads more fun than skelping mission 12. I check my processed materials, scoring about 10k every few missions lol, my online unprocessed stock is ± 400k foreverything bar PM. FOB1 complete FOB2 majority 3/4. For anybody looking to quickly build up their bases id give this a crack.

Who cares mgo tuesday

Fuck MGO tbh lol :coffee:

Might play if there is some side benefit to SP or even FOB gameplay cause meh, if MGO is gonna be FOB pvp but with more peeps and more server shenanigans, honestly WGAF?

Haven’t watched the video but does he talk about Chico in this because someone said he’s def wrong on some points regarding Peace Walker.

I hope theres a MGO map across like 2-3 fob platforms the possibilites for that pretty dope :bee:

I’d be down for that as long as one it’s on the R&D Building for shits and giggles lol

shogunz keepin’ it real with this post, but the outcry is no one is talking about miller’s burger game, just sayin
