thats just the way the m16 fires IIRC. not a gun nut or anything but i believe they tumble out of the gun cause the goal of the ammo is to not kill but rather wound so the bullets spin around in the air and tear up organs and shit or something.
5.56mm ammo (m16 bullets) is supposed to tumble after it makes contact with the target; but from talking to soldiers and dudes who own guns, that shit doesn’t really seem to work that way. M16 ammo goes right through people like a lot of other bullets.
Projectiles couldn’t tumble after leaving the barrel anyways due to a numerous amount of reasons
