Well I dont consider that a fault, but there wasnt much to each area, and that goes back to the emphasis on that with how long the cutscenes were. It took away from gameplay.
There was variety. I enjoy several areas. Sneaking in south america, the “escort” mission in Europe, the full out action scenes. The game was am awesome mix of sneaking and gunplay, and the entire Chapter 4 nostalgia with the remake of Shadow Moses from MGS1…then the epic final chapter on the aircraft carrier.
Eh. I thought MGS4 was solid as hell. I cant say anything bad about the series. I cant.

I can, but i do still think it’s an incredible series. 4 has a lot of faults but I still really like it.

MGS4 was solid but it is still the weakest out of MGS, MGS2, MGS3 and PW.

Glad to see Platinum respecting the MG tradition of no kill runs. The interview also confirms some stealth exclusive routes you can take, at this point I have no idea why kiddies are trippin.
I’m sorry any gamer who doesn’t atleast give them props is a idiot plain and simple. Already know my gamer buddy has some stupid half witted comment coming for this game like he did with Bayonetta. Something like it’s over the top or stupid or ran horribly or why is she spitting bullets out of her bra. He is like the anti-fun equation when it comes to video games and anything in life.
I already have all the Blop fanatics at my job eager to buy this game. Sadly it took the demo fight video against the Ray to convince them, but I’ll take what I can get.
But they’re just going to cry about it being hard and feel insulted when it recommends easy.

It’s a damn over-the-top video game. You like Mario, don’t you? That mess is crazy unrealistic and over-the-top (in a more cartoony sense, of course). So Mario gets a pass yet stuff like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Vanquish and MGR get scoffed at for being “too unrealistic?”
