The only time the game looks shitty is when you play with people overseas. Then it runs at a framerate worse than DmC.
That is the whole reason I waited for NA release. With more local players and hopefully server adjustments, things will run more smoothly. The game has a wealth of single player content so I’m not doubting and like you said, it runs great as long as you don’t play people too far out like any other online game.
I’ve just come to the realization that so far only platinum has my money for 2013. Ni No Kuni looks good though.

Same here. I would probably still be playing it if it were easier to find matches against people on the same continent. With the import, it was almost impossible for me to find Battle Royale matches, and if I did, it ran like hell. But when you play with people with good connections, it is so much fun. I’ve had some of the most fun I’ve ever had with an online game with Max Anarchy.
There are a handful of games that I want in 2012, though, I don’t think most of them can match the quality of P+.
I’m pretty hyped for Soul Sacrifice on the Vita.
Even with it being delayed AGAIN i’m still excited for Bioshock Infinite and few others thing, but in general yea P* owns my wallet.

And that Metal Gear Ray fight at the BEGINNING = just a taste to what kinda crazy mess will happen near the end of the game. I mean, take the amount of escalating crap happened in Bayonetta with the prologue stage (fighting off a damn falling building), Jean (Missile tennis?!) all the way to Balder (SKYSCRAPERS and SATELLITE STATION TENNIS?!?!).
If basic MGS4 Raiden was literally pulling the dick off a RAY in the beginning of the game, and then he gets manhandled by Sam not long after those stunts…
