Metal Gear Rising thread. Releasing in Early 2013 for PS3 & 360

No! No MGO3!

Fuck that game!

How did I put 1000+ hours into that shit?

The story of my life…

I never played MGO…:frowning: How good was it?

MGO1: godlike
MPO: fun, though crappy maps
MGO2: shitty

Wait whats MGO? Metal gear online? When did we make it up to 3? I thought the version attached the MGS 4 was the only version.

It wasn’t. The community ended up all ruled by GP and RP so like vast majority glitched or lagged terribly intentionally.

The glitchers got to the point they could disconnect you with ddos attacks.

I do miss CQC holds into MK2 headshots. And shotgun rage.

I probably would’ve endured it all to the end if I didn’t keep getting connection not stable messages so frequently.

There was the one for 4, and one for MGS3.

So…why exactly should we be happy about another one ?

UC3 is a good example of how to take care and maintain the online component of a TPS.

MGO was fun, but I never got to play it much.

MGO1 was da best.

MGO, SWBF, GR, R6, and Socom 3. those were the good ps2 online days:lovin:

Killzone 1… Halo killer

If you read the IGN article it mentions Kojima has not lost the epic idea of The Boss having her own game. During the Metal Gear Rising mini documentary he mentions MGS5 being The Boss in the battle of Normandy. If she is to have her own game does this mean 2 Metal Gear games? Also if Rising does very well is it possible for a sequel? It seems Kojima’s MGS retirement is as good as Jay-Z’s.

PLEASE NO to a game about the boss

Then pull the trigger!

I like The Boss the best part about mgs3 imo.

Boss ;_;

About MGO. MGO1 was hype, MPO was alright for a PSP game with online, MGO2, while fun, to me was very hard to get into once you graduated from Beginner lobbies. Also made it hard to have fun since everybody was so gdlk at getting headshots every 2 seconds. :frowning:

And PW’s multiplayer was basically a portable MGO done right, it’s just a damn shame that Kojima didn’t implement infrastructure in it though. :frowning:

Yeah that hurt the multiplayer aspect the most imo, really good game though.

I ain’t crying

I’m just saying, don’t call the kettle black, when you’re a pot, nerd.

Go rock out to Cheetara’s theme while grinding in GW2.
