Finally just beat the game for the first time. God, the Blade Mode sections were a pain in the ass for the last boss for me because unlike the Sundowner fight it felt like you actually needed to use Free Blade Mode or screw up and take a ton of damage.

Mind you I play MGR on the 360 and I can’t get used to the right analog stick for the life of me.

Is there a stat in the chapter menu that tells you how many arms you’ve collected in that chapter? Because I’m speed running the game on easy to try and find the 3 or 4 im missing and it’s mildy tedious because I feel like I might’ve missed one or something. Basically I wanna know if there is a way to narrow down my search.

You’re probably going to need to check out Youtube for the list of arms unfortunately. I don’t believe the game gives you anyway to track your progress beyond the simple list of IDs in the collectibles menu.
There’s some pretty good guides on Youtube though, so I’d check those out if you’re looking to save time.

I guess I’m gonna have to. Im only missing two ID’s, and having to pull up augment mode every single time you see an enemy it gives it a “needle in a haystack” feel to it.

I didn’t do that because I’m normally not a collectible kinda guy. But finding these collectibles actually gives me something other than an achievement and I didn’t know that beforehand Also was that the Soul Snake sword or whatever? I didn’t watch it with audio.

You can skip the Blade Mode section in the last boss fight by running straight to the tower where Armstrong is standing and just by avoiding the thrown debris.
