Why DID they remix the songs anyway? Why remix songs made for the same game? More importantly, WHY NOT PUT THEM ON THE OST?!<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>also if anyone can link me to a download of the unremixed version of “The Only Thing I know is Bloodshed” I’d appreciate that :D</div>

The remix doesn’t sound that much different than the original. It’s fine. What was the reasoning for changing it?<br>

I think the vocals sound more hype in the remix.<br>

You sir are a beast congrats, HOPEFULLY I plat it by the end of the week. Right now I’m doing the Revengeance run and it seems the entire thing boils down to parrying. There are both positives and negatives about it but the game is still fun though. <br><br><br><br>

</div>
</blockquote>

One thing I hate about parrying is that if you do it too early you can get caught in an attack animation easily. I think I’d rather have a dedicated parry button in a sequel. Shit B/Circle isn’t doing anything when I’m not sneaking up on people or opening doors. Might as well be it.</div>
</blockquote>

I’ve never experienced that, but if it was happening to me I still wouldn’t want it mapped to one button. I’m sure just pressing Circle would make the game feel different in some way. Or do you mean direction+circle?<br><br>I’d like to see more done with parrying on the other buttons in a sequel provided we get more enemies on screen.<br><br>Direction+Circle = An AoE that blows the enemies away from you if you’re feeling overly pressured.<br>Direction+X = Some Juri like shit.<br>Direction+Triangle = Breaks the armour(any random limb)on an armoured enemy, but it doesn’t block if you do it too early.<br>Direction+Square = What we have now.<br> <br>

Their ability to intelligently remix metal tracks, coupled with their love for video games, made them perfect for the project. If you ever listen to their original material, you’ll see that it doesn’t stray that far from the sound of their Rising remixes. "</font></p>

Arrggghh, Captain America curbstompin’ my ass with that Metal Gear toss. I’m so free at Free Blade Mode.

YEa I prefer the remix of the Armstrong Theme better as well. Have to disagree with you there Jolly. <br>

<span style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana;”>Pretty much all of the original songs sound better and fit the game better imo. Everytime I hear those wubwub parts I cringe.</span><font face=“Arial”> <span style=“line-height: 1.7em;”>Dubstep doesn’t work for ANYTHING, it just makes everything worse. They did a good job of keeping the wub at a minimum though.</span></font>

Monsoons original theme is…pretty generic. The remix is actually a lot better, imo. <div><br></div><div>I don’t mind Mistrals, but i like the original one a lot more. Sundowners remix is more fitting for the fight (and not bad at all) but the original song reminds me of Guilty Gear, and those riffs are awesome</div>

I see a few people complaining that the characters don’t get much time/aren’t fleshed out, and obviously those are people that never initiated any Codec Conversations with the support characters. I’ve been running an all S-Rank Hard Mode run, and decided to take my time and listen to the codecs- In just the first chapter alone I have already gained a much greater appreciation of the cast… Even my least liked character, Kevin, has some interesting things to say and the brotherly relationship between him and Raiden is actually kinda cool, and Doktor is just as awesome as he is in the cutscenes. I could listen to him go on about cyborgs and future tech all day.<div><span style=“font-family: ‘lucida grande’, ‘Lucida Sans Unicode’, tahoma, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7em;”>Can’t wait to hear what Wolf has to say. </span><br></div><div><div><br></div><div>Lol @ Kari Whalgren’s sassy black woman impersonation as Courtney when speaking about the incident with Sam on the train. “I coulda saved yo’ ass!”</div></div>

Wolf has more personality than anyone in DmC.<br>

The only good thing about MGR is the music, really, and even then there are only like 2 or 3 really good ones. The rest are about as shitty and forgettable as the rest of the game is.<br><br>I recently got the platinum trophy for DmC, so now I’m waiting for the next big action game title, GoW Ascension, to further satisfy my action game cravings.<br><br>Glory to western-developed action games <img src=“http://i.imgur.com/YClBO.gif”><br>

There’s no way the Mistral fight doesn’t take place in Midgar in FFVII.

EVERYTHING cancels into a parry or dodge<br>

TsunBeta’s tsundere-ness never gets old. ~O)<br><br>To be fair, and as someone who hates wub-tastic dubstep, much of the dubstep in MGR:R shows up very, very infrequently and in small, tolerable bursts. They could’ve been much, MUCH worse. I think you guys are being a bit too picky on the matter.<br>
