MGS4 was the only bad MGS game imo. The third person camera made the game real easy, Act 3, the boss fights were lackluster sans Rex vs Ray and Snake vs Ocelot, and Act 3.
Hard to MGS1 had a good story after it did the “HAHA I made you active the nuclear missiles for me” thing.
It’s Platinum, so this will be day 1. Already liking how this game just basically is a nice middle finger to everyone who considers MGS “serious business”, when even Kojima himself doesn’t. :lol:

I was already eager for this game, but now I can’t wait. Can’t go wrong with Platinum, their track record is impeccable, unlike a certain developer who is currently making a certain game about a certain Demon Hunter.

Personally, I always thought the story of Metal Gear has been ridiculous since after that non canon game Snake’s Revenge.
I am aware it’s not part of the official continuity, and the story elements of the game were stupid at the game, but seeing as how ridiculous the Metal Gear series has gotten, it’s hilarious in hindsight

I don’t care what the story is about. Even if this is nothing but him going from castle to castle, trying to find Rose, nothing will be as terrible as the last game’s plot. Nothing.
If Kojima doesn’t have his hand in this, I hope he’s either working on a new I.P., or…Zone of The Enders 3.
