I never played ZOE…am I missing an important part of my life here?
ZOE looks like some real dope anime, but it doesn’t look like something I’d really want to play…
Only if you like robots and/or action games. ZOE1 was great but the combat was a little too simplistic like you can tell the mechanics were meant for a lot more then what you were able to do. Then ZOE2 came along and blew 1 away it’s possibly the biggest improvement from a sequel I’ve ever played, ZOE2 is the best mecha game out there it’s as fast and intense as you’ve always dreamed other mech games could be.
years ago I used to be huge into mecha games: RAD, Mech Assault, Armored Core 4, etc played most of the best but nothing compares to ZOE2

I have both ZOE games on the PS2 but I think I’m gonna buy the HD collection to support ZOE3, and Rising looks freaking sick! Now, I can’t wait for Bayonetta 2 and that new MGS game with THE BOSS as the main character.

Yea probably, it’s just funny watching people go “It was better before!” when no one really fought back and Raiden was using his leet sword skills to cut up watermellon and cars instead of doing something, ANYTHING compelling from a gameplay standpoint.

Different themes, different characters, different abilities. This is why MGS will be run into the ground. These fanboys just want a constant never ending flow of MGS and nothing else. Hell I won’t even be surprised that the reason we didn’t get a ZOE3 earlier was because of rabid fan demand for all sources being used for more Metal Gear Solid.

snake eater was fun to play but the story sucked and ruined the MGS series

MGS hit the shitter when Sons of Liberty was released.
I like to look at each game as its own entity so I don’t have to try to fathom that they’re some how connected and trying to tell some kind of story.
