quick question for anyone that owns the slim ps3. is it still LOUD AS FUCK and sound like a jet engine? I kinda wanna get the small one and use the big one living room movie setup.
i got that the other day too(wednesday survival). i didnt wanna reinstall so i just went ahead and rebooted it again for the hell of it and it worked. see if it’ll work for you.
the slim ps3 is hella quiet. i love this about it. the only time it’s loud is when you feed it a disc.
one of my friends had a ps3 that was loud as fuck too. i was wonderin why it was like that bc my 20gb launch was never THAT loud. so when i looked at it up close…it had dust build up in EVERY vent(gross)…so when he finally wiped it off it wasnt as loud anymore…so check and see if maybe there’s some dust build up in your vents. use that condensed air spray stuff to blow it out.
:wonder: Just a heads up, it’s better to use a small vacuum for that… dood!:
