it was never planned for 10 years. no game lasts that long. if i were to guess, plan was AT LEAST 5 years.
I am sure they are planning mgo3 for ps3 and xbox360 with the fox engine or whatever I was reading about. really hoping they’d take care of this ddos non sense on mgo3. there is hope when microsoft is involved. they are lot more serious about network issues and cyber criminals.
Actually it was because in many previews for MGS4 both Konami and Hideo advertised it as such. While I agree with you no game lasts 10 years it was at least planned to have a life span like that. I did read Konami hiring high level network programmers so I am assuming security will be better next gen.

J-Nav: I learned to never host base again. The teams were lopsided and the aborting didn’t help. LOL @ Sonickun crying about AA 5 years later. Poor dude I AAd him 4 times after that. Also being host is like cheating, mad priority the shots were easy.

I played with 50 in some random games. Then with Sonic and J-Nav while I hosted in the afternoon. I’m down for survival tomorrow, hopefully the server doesn’t get owned.
that dude was laggy as fuck lol. there was another guy, i think his name was silent47hitman, who was laggin even worse. had like a 5 sec. death delay. he had no health and still hs me lol.
16 player rooms are terrible.
Yeah maybe sticking to something under that will improve my experience in this final month of mgo.

Shoutouts to the EU troll. I am starting to think CNS is caused by too many people running 96k. In the 1st two years of MGO no one rocked lower upload speeds but things changed after that. In the final month no one wants to play legit and the lag is so bad the framerate dips to slideshow levels. I am speechless TBH and I am glad Kombo didn’t buy a PS3 just for this game cause it would be a waste of his time. ggs for what it is and shoutouts to red ping. All day ERRRY day.
yeah that laggy iFgt. he plays with glockbuster so you can pretty much chalk it up to glitching. notice how he goes full green when I tried to kick him.

I beat Glock when he use to be legit in Toy Soldiers via 1v1 in the 1st year of MGO. I know his cousin and he hates the fact the dude went out to get what he needed for a lagswitch. Ironically Glockbusterdav is from New York so I don’t know what to tell you. Something tells me survival is going to be a mess…

Good stuff SRK, we got better through the night. I think people need to play more to get their aim back,adjust to modes and understand our play styles. Lag,DDOS,Redping and glitchers were present but no lie I had fun. Ride this game till it dies I guess.

was playing some intense rescue with xPros-- hosted by hustlehard. his rooms are clean/non laggy. u should check it out sometimes. of course I prefer base over anything. why hide for 3 minutes when I can kill people!>:(
Will mos def check it out. BASE is good but if there is a single weakness in team compatibility then there are huge problems. I mean that probably applies to every mode, especially TSNE but I’m more of a Cap person. I love CC cap, great map and mode.
