according to mgo2.com all they did was ban EU/jpn people from NA server thats it. I am guessing we’d still have to play people from mexico, brazil, argentina, chile, venezuala, etc etc…

Hey guys dose this game still have a solid community playing it? Also do I need to buy the GENE and MEME expansion to actually enjoy it? I remember playing the beta b, and for the first 2 or 3 months of the game and it was amazingly fun. Someone please let me know.
yeah there is a community. tough learning curve though. stay in freebattle and play survival once you are used to the engine/maps. you want all the exp packs if you wanna play survival. its cheap. something like $20 now if you buy all of them at the same time(I could be wrong). game is still fun TBH. well at least survival is. I dont even play freebattle. sometimes I get on dev’s account and shotgun random noobs because he has shotgun3 skill enabled. s3is tank lol. it actually hits people from as far as like 20ft. regular-ass shotgun is like saiga. quick reload and all that.
yeah, buying the expansions is a must [costs about $20]… you need the expansions to play in like 95% of the rooms in free battle… and you’ll need them for survival and tourney as well
the mgo community sucks lol… as long you dont take the game too serious, you’ll have a good time with it … and yes, the game has a steep learning curve, so make sure you spend time in the beginner lobby in free battle or in training [campbell lobby]

awesome set today chrisdat, leo, lolwhites, other chris. we didnt get 5TAR WAR5 but fun matches. man I think you can abuse mags in SS. I saw chrisdat getting caught by mags from the OTHER side of the wall. then I threw 3 nades and mags were still here I dunno wtf was going on there.
that one SS cap was godlike. I went around killing the first dude in their spawn, then killed another trying to wake someone, killed the one sleeping too. then I brought to counter down to from 20 to 3 seconds. there was NO way we were winning that match. they were all level17-18/hounds/eagles. match of the day :clapdos:
oh and I wasnt randomly accusing that “special K” guy on last match. yo I killed him and timer still kept going down wtf lol :mad: from 16-13 making the 1st round tie. that kind of BS is mad suspect.
oh and I dunno if foreigners are actually banned or not but I didnt see many red pings tonight. no full team of brazil, mexico, argentina, chille, venezuala laggers.

Yeah I learned this the hard way. I’ve been playing a little bit over the past few days and wow head shots are a must. If I get back into the game maybe I’ll buy the expansions since they are around $20.
Oh yeah so I have a question on the expansions. Do any of them give you extra character slots? I was looking and they charge almost $7 for a character slot isn’t that crazy expensive?
Lastly aside from the maps and characters (Meryl, Jonny, etc…) do you get anything else from the expansions? New guns? or game modes?
I am not sure but I think you do get an extra character slot if you get all exp packs together. I cant remember how I got an extra slot. I know I didnt pay for it. maybe email konami and make sure. game modes/guns are free. you just need the exp packs for extra maps. the most basic skill set is this.
assault rifle 2
run 1
mono3
level up mono asap. you will need it in darker maps. and ALWAYS 6th sense for rescue modes. runner 2 in huge maps like VV where you can see clearly so you dont really need mono. and disabling auto aim helps your headshot game. its tough love lol…
and 50, I will be down for tourney if your other friend’s have room(hopefully not fail!). I like purple beret as much as WB. its rare too. havent seen many purple lately(at all)
