So, today I saw that SNAAAAKE was playing God of War Collections instead of MGO. Was I imagining things? Did hell freeze over? Was I dreaming?
On another note, what’s the difference between jap mgo and us mgo?
I play other shit too lol. mostly on 360. plus I managed to finish uncharted even with that clunky-ass controls(so bad…)
difference between jap and NA is less glitchers. I have about 25 hours in JMGO and I saw maybe 4-5 monkey business going on thats it. that # is really really low compared to NA servers. no abortion either. no matter how bad the match is they dont leave. while in NA its impossible to play with randoms because 1 will ALWAYS leave if the match is not going his way or he gets killed in TSNE/RES. jmgo isnt all that awesome tho. lag does effect anyone(even if you are really good) and lot of gang-rape going on. like there are too many average level17 teams ganging up on random 12s. JMGO also got friendly fire on in survival so you cant spam random nades in base/cap modes. and EVERYONE kicks you. I got kicked by random-ass 12s when I was lvl16 -bb. they probably hate americans/laggers or something. maybe its my “Clint Beastwood” name I really shoulda went with “Otaku Anime Gamer” instead (dont sue mee!!! lol)
if you are not a HUGE fan then its probably not worth your $. gotta buy the game and all exp packs too.

LOL, but for real I am glad to see you playing different games. If I only played NA MGO all day I would probably go insane, like I did when the game came out lol. I was really good back then because MGO is the kinda game where you have to play consistently to be good. I was mad competitive and got salty when I lost, but that mentality gave me a lot of skill and I beat mad peeps in 1V1s and faced good clans. Now that I don’t play much except for the occasional blue moon I am no where as good as I was 7 months ago. But the game is still fun for me in small portions. I should get JMGO because there is not much reason to be salty but I hear you have to buy expansions again. I don’t have that much cash so I can’t really do that as of now, BTW Yakuza 3 is one of the hardest games to platinum on PS3, but hell I am close to doing it. >_>
JMGO non-lethal tourney was pretty hilarious. yeah I am pretty shitty without guns. gotta learn shield or something 
but I did use the mounted gun in VV race mode and got 5 kills. random dude was “AMERICA CHEATER!”
I started playing casually again…man…when friendly fire is off it’s almost impossible to get a CQC stun or kill when a teammate is around. They just shoot the person I’m choking stealing my stun and kill. I have to only play team fire matches.
Yeah people will kill steal all the time, that’s why I never CQC in public matches.
I always shoot people that people are choking, especially in team death match.
We don’t get points as a team for stuns, and you are just as vulnerable when you are choking someone as to when you are being choked, it isn’t worth the risk. If you are so good that you are choking someone from a hidden position, then kill stealing won’t be a problem because nobody will be around.
The amount of times I’ve been stunned then someone has tranq’d me when I’m down, then picked me up and dropped me to disarm me a few times then been shot by someone on my team is unbelievable, I just don’t see the point in risking it.
Man I miss this game. I just hate how everyone is so damn good that it’s crazy… 
So I just try to play smart with traps since I’m bad head on because of the stupid lag this game has T_T
Stuns are huge in BASE and CAP. You can put an enemy out of commission for a long time with a stun. I would ban you from my clan immediately if you killed stunned enemies mindlessly.
Pro-tip: stun someone, take their weapon (or automatically disarm them with higher CQC), then shoot them so they only have one pixel left of life and leave them there on the ground. They’ll wake up eventually, with no weapon, and very little life. They either have to run back to their spawn main and try to get another weapon and then return to battle all the while being one shot from death. Or they have to return to battle with no main weapon while being one shot from death. They become an easy kill. A stray round or grenade will take them down because you cannot regenerate health in MGO.
Add together the time for them being stunned, plus time for them to procure another weapon if they decide to run back to base, plus time for them getting killed and respawning, and it puts them out of action for a longer time than if you just killed them outright. The quicker you kill someone off of a stun the quicker they can respawn with full gear and get right back into the mix. But if you delay their death, and keep them weak in the process (no weapon, one pixel of life), you can basically take them out of the mix for an extended period.
This is a very fair point, I’ve never thought of it like this.
I suppose this way the player is out of the game (no guns or health) for a lot longer then when you just shoot them. Still in TDM I hardly see the point though, the aim of the game is to run down the other teams tickets, the more targets you have running around the quicker you can take the tickets. I’ll definitely stop shooting stunned people in Base (which I play a lot) but I never play Cap anyway.
Before you put it like that, I never saw the point in stunning people might try levelling up the CQC skill too, seeing as Ive max’d quite a few others already :tup:

LOL Sup, I actually have been on SRK since 2001. MGO has so much depth for a shooter, I noticed a lot of elite players no longer play. I’ve seen some MGO league vids but I wonder why it took so long for the community to organize them. But it’s nice to see you on SRK, a great place to learn Capcom releated fighters. SSF4 is coming out so I also expect to see an influx of new players similar to when SF4 came out. But I miss the old days of BKY, MG is just not the same imho. But when I did get on MGO, I saw a lot of new players who were good but seem to have fairly new accounts. I even saw a lot of new clans giving MG trouble. It’s like a different world in MGO now.
